You're a really funny dude. But I'll entertain it briefly. For instance, if you want to apply for a passport, you need the original paper certificate, or just a printout of the e-certificate.

I am speculating as I've not yet seen an e-certificate, but I have seen a recent paper certificate: I wonder if going forward they will continue to require the original certificates, or at some point just cancel that - or limit it to certificates issued as of some date.

Why? Because the newer certificates have barcodes and I presume it's easily linked to their databases.

But i'm only guessing.

I just completed my virtual oath! There were about 140 people (I believe she said) from 39 different countries. I'll still be here for a while, since we are waiting on my wife's LPP and oath.
Could you please update us on how quickly after the virtual oath you are able to download an e-certificate (once it's there) and congrats!!

Just checked: "Your e-Certificate is not available. Please try again 2-5 business days after you provided your signed Oath of Citizenship."

Hello, my LLP was completed consecutively in a day on March 25th. The only thing remaining is citizenship ceremony. It says Not Started. Can you tell me how long it takes to get to an oath letter? I have seen some people waiting over a month or so. Also which is better an e-certificate or hard copy? I assume the e-certificate can be uploaded and printed for the passport application? Also I noticed someone here calling another person stupid. Please speak appropriately, we are all on the same boat. Treat others the way you always want to be treated, even in your worst of moments. Thank you!

Do you know where we can download the e certificate, is it the same portal where we submitted the application??

Although they say it can be several days, most of the time it seems it gets made available as soon as an officer checks your signed form that you emailed, which is usually quite quick - reports I've seen mostly same day or next.

Fingers crossed, anyway.
