Although they say it can be several days, most of the time it seems it gets made available as soon as an officer checks your signed form that you emailed, which is usually quite quick - reports I've seen mostly same day or next.

Fingers crossed, anyway.

Hopefully I don't have a reason to be worried. It's been many hours at this point and I sent the form directly after.

Hello, my LLP was completed consecutively in a day on March 25th. The only thing remaining is citizenship ceremony. It says Not Started. Can you tell me how long it takes to get to an oath letter? I have seen some people waiting over a month or so. Also which is better an e-certificate or hard copy? I assume the e-certificate can be uploaded and printed for the passport application? Also I noticed someone here calling another person stupid. Please speak appropriately, we are all on the same boat. Treat others the way you always want to be treated, even in your worst of moments. Thank you!

He doesn't like me because I pointed out he's a really negative person who is barely intelligible in English. He's constantly insulting IRCC and calling them incompetent and stuff, but it's really hard to understand most of what he says. He got really angry with me before. I don't worry about it though. He probably wouldn't be calling other people stupid.

I disagree. e-Certificate is better. You can't lose or damage it since you can back it up in the cloud, on USB sticks multiple computers, etc. You never have to "replace" it for any reason. You just print a new copy. That is why I opted for e-certificate.

Mine was virtual. If you get in-person, you will get a paper certificate, even if you selected e-certificate.

Let them know when they sign you in. They will meet with each person privately to confirm identity and watch you cut up your PR card.
Just tell the officer then and they will figure it out

You have to have an individual invitation code so there’s not going to be anywhere for you to sign up on the portal without it.

I didn't get this email until the day after my virtual oath (Scarborough office). Received it on a Saturday. Yours might still come afterwards

I never got a reply from my oath form upload. I realized this morning usually I get an auto-reply when I emailed them, but I got nothing. Thinking it was a problem with the attachment, I emailed them without the attachment to ask if they got it, and I got an auto-reply. So that made me think even more there's an issue with the attachement.

I had used a 3rd party tool to compress it since it needed to be below 1000KB. I used my mac to "print to PDF" that PDF, creating a new one, still under 1000KB. I sent it again to the email, but again received no auto-reply.

At this point, I don't know if the auto-reply doesn't happen if there's an attachment or if my attachment is getting blocked.

I googled and found someone saying they uploaded it via the web form, which I thought was a really good idea. I went ahead and did that as a backstop. They won't be able to say they didn't receive it within 48 hours as required, since that goes straight into GCMS.

So, I'm confident it'll get resolved one way or another now, with the web form. I got an email acknowledging the web form upload/message as well.
