Hey everyone!!

I just received my COPR in the mail. Pretty cool!!

It's kind of bittersweet because my dear sweet Mother passed away last night. She is smiling down on me.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother passing away but I am glad you have some good news with your COPR at such a difficult time. Congratulations for your COPR and happy landing!

Similarly to you I got 'medical results have been received' and then DM (Ottawa) the next day on the 12th so I'm hoping my COPR will arrive soon if you just got yours!

My condolences. Congrats on receiving COPR!

Well, you know, it doesn't really make sense. I look at today's technology and wonder how that can happen. I mean I get they have large volumes of paperwork to process but lots of businesses out there do as well and yet they don't fail at providing updates as much as CIC does. I don't even understand why you have to provide hard copies of basically everything. Electronic information should be acceptable in 95% of cases. But no, let's kill some trees instead. My assumption is that they operate entirely on typewriters and microfiche otherwise... ;D

lmao cudnt agree more.
they shud just have everything sent in online ya know dont mind uploadin a few word.docx & some pdf's but printing & expecting hard copies, & then the delivery times b/w getting & sending original docs over to ur spouse, & then the old oh now they lost em etc, lol. like the hell, u tryna trip mang! ???

So tell me, what is "AOR 2"?

Also, if I've seen online that they started processing hubby's app as of a certain date (Mar 17), does that need to be noted somewhere?

Thanks!

AOR2 is acknowledgement of receipt from the VO, but most people never get it. So don't worry. If they started processing it March 17th, you know they have it at the VO.

Hi gang,
I'm wondering if you can help. Hubby just received a request for medical for his son. The problem is that his ex-wife has his son. He is not in contact with his ex-wife and has no idea where his son is. For his divorce he had to post it and wait for a response (which he never got) and then went through the courts. Any suggestions on what we can do here?
Thanks!

Got an email today requesting me to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) which I had already paid upfront. Then I got an email saying it was an error and that I should ignore it as they've determined that the fee has been paid already.

Are these the signs of my application being at the last stages? Any senior member who can let me know approximately how much time would it take now to get the DM?

Thanks!

What day did you submit? A lot of November people got that email about a week before DM. I'd say it's a good chance you're almost there.

My friend!!!! Congratulations for COPR and I am so sorry about your mom. For sure, she is happy for you and your family to be together soon. She shines as the most beautiful start in the sky.

A little bit late

I hope the best for you ❤️
