yea... best of luck to both of us next week...

I think CIC has intentionally slowed down to keep the timelines for issuance of fresh PR card in check (it is 85 days now, was ~35 days until early this year).

It's been a week now.....
Waiting for response from CIC on Visa stamping location Change to ND from Ottawa.

PPR Received: 23-May
Request Sent: 26-May

Hey Bullionvault,

Did the status on your ECAS change to Medical Received?

Thanks

No status change in ECAS. It still reads "we started processing your application on May 2nd, 2014". :-\

Buddy, post mid may, we are seeing a delay from CIC.
I guess due to the new FSWP, the work has piled up to some extent ..

Let's hope we all reach to our next logical step in the coming week.

Hope for the best.
Cheers

Thanks, Ashra. Just for the sake of speculation, no doubt they must have received quite a few applications for the new FSWP. But I am not sure how it impacts the CEC PPR process because our applications are past the eligibility check, and in a different stage now right? Delay can happen if they transfer a few staff from medical review/ppr section to the FSWP section which I feel is highly unlikely. There could be something else if they have indeed decided to slow down. May be the pr card issuance is lagging behind and hence they might want to clear the backlog or may be there is no delay at all and other Oct applicants not on the forum are getting ppr. Hope they are not planning another strike or something again ;D Anyway hopefully by next week...

Can anyone let me know if online payment is the best way for RPRF payment.
Do I have to attach any other additional documents or forms along with the Fee payment receipt or mail them the original payment copy.

I would say that paying online is the best way as the payment is almost instantaneous. I filled out the payment receipt form and emailed them a scanned copy. But I see that others have sent the blank receipt also and didn't have any problem. Didn't attach any other form in the email. You can also refer the link below for email template to CPP-Ottawa (courtesy of Toby).

got my PPR last night.
Time line is
Received: oct 24, 2013
AOR: Dec 2, 2013
MR: May 2
RPRF: May 2
Medical Done:May 17
Medical Upload: May 21
PPR: May 28

Congrats!

Make sure you ask for signatures for both prepaid envelopes. Extra few dollars would help you feel at ease. Even though, it seemed quite many cases here were delivered without signature even though we requested them...

There is a delay for sure. I just hope it's not a strike or something! Remember last year's strike? Took them 4 months to get back on track.

Best of luck to everybody. Next week is ours, hopefully :)

Just landed yesterday at Coutts, Alberta... ;D ;D ;D
