Hello everyone,

Sent my pcc from Aust, India and RCMP on May 12th 2014, medicals and RPRF was done before that. Does anyone knows how long does it take to acknowledge the documents and send PPR?

my status changed to decision made 12 days after they received the renewed PCC. No other acknowledgement.

Yeah, i dont know why is it taking that long because its already been around 20 days.

a week after they received my pcc I sent an email saying that the task is considered completed from my end and i'd need to know if there are other requests on me.

this might have brought my file to officer's attention or it pissed him off ass i do not know the decision yet.

Well, one thing to remember is that officers do not take things personal! Unless you directly give them some bad impressions. Just make sure whenever you communicate with them, you do it in a polite manner, not giving them an impression of you teaching them how to do their job. This is the last thing they want to read when they open an E-Mail. They have a job, a guideline and a task to complete and trust me they are not sitting there doing researches on you every second, and I'm pretty sure that they are overwhelmed over the quantity of applications they are receiving everyday. It's not like they would go and say: "Oh you know what? Now that this guy is doing this, we're going to delay processing his application and give him a hard time just to teach him a lesson"!

So relax, there are still people waiting for their PPRs from July. Your turn will come.

We are still waiting, so it's best if you let it go. Get on with your daily life, enjoy the summer, and before you even know it, you are at the border, landing as a PR.

Hey mate, there is not much you can do but wait like the rest of us. If you are really really worried then I would suggest you order your GCMS notes. It'll take for about a month to get delivered. To be honest at this stage all you can do is to wait. We're all waiting. I did my medicals on 8th May and still waiting.

So just relax, enjoy your days and let the time heal the process.

Even though I have read many comments on the forum advising against contacting CIC unless absolutely required, I would say you can try sending an inquiry mail since there is already a small delay, try to keep it as polite as possible. I had sent them a mail a few days back albeit for a different issue, but got a response from CIC today. So may be you also might get a response.

Got a mail today morning from CPC Ottawa in response to my MR completed mail to them. It says they have received the medical results for principal applicant but awaiting the results for my spouse. I have responded back attaching the scanned copy of emedical report received from the clinic and asked them whether anything else is pending from my side.

Anyone have any suggestions as to whether something needs to be done or is this just normal. As per the clinic, the results for both of us were uploaded on 12th May.

Just wait mate! You have done it all at your end, you have even replied to their E-Mail with a scanned document, so just wait. I am saying this for the 1000th time. There are still people waiting for their PPRs from July & August.

Thanks mate! Always a good feeling when you get some response ;D Finally got my GCMS notes CD just now, after they sent it thrice. Going through it as I type this :-X

Got my PPR. and sent it already. I have no idea how long they will take to send it back to me. But i am already feeling relaxed now. Almost there..
