Hi Friends,

I am October applicant and did my medical 3-4 weeks before. I was having Latent (inactive TB) and I declared during medical which I think I did wrong.
Doctor asked a letter from Family doctor and i hv given it.
Still I don't receive any communication from CIC. ECAS is showning in process since long time.
Please help me. Will be there any problem with PR because of my Latent TB?
Please advise.
Application Date - 4 Oct 2013
AOR - 18 Nov 2013
Medical Done - 24 Apr 2014
Medical Uploaded - 5 May 2014
RPRF - 10 May 2014

Is there anyone who has got PR having Letent TB? any idea? How much time will cic take to come a decision.

Please help and advise.
Day by day getting tensed.

Hi Vimal,

I realized you posted multiple times in this thread & nobody answered your question..
I don't have the exact answer myself.. but I've been told by my panel physician that they (CIC I assume) will contact you directly if they need any more document/further diagnose test.
The fact that you have provided family doctor & any other document to your panel physician that means you're good for now like the others (In my opinion)

As for the status still "In Process". Don't worry, some people got their PPR really fast & some people aren't..
We are on the same boat actually.
I applied at Oct 15, 2013. My medical was uploaded on May 9, 2014.. and the status on my E-cas still haven't changed (Still "In Process")

We just need to be patient I guess. :)

What is the turn around time for CIC people to reply to ur mails/Queries? If i am in CANADA and outside CANADA.

And is there any way that we can call CIC from outside CANADA

I have sent an email request to change my Visa stamping location to New Delhi on 26-May.
Awaiting response from Ottawa :(

Their response time seems to be quite random (if they respond at all). I sent an updated employer reference letter through email last December. After two weeks I sent an inquiry email for confirmation, there was no response from them at all. However, two weeks later, I sent another inquiry email and received a confirmation email from them in a few minutes.

Hi Vimal,

Dunno worry. AFAIK if it is inactive then the supporting letter from the doc should be good enough to pass you. You did no wrong by declaring. If they would have found something in the test results, it would have been a bigger issue.

Keep clam and relax. Processing is a bit slow and you should soon get the PPR.

PS: I didnt have latent TB.

Hey Bullionvault,

Did the status on your ECAS change to Medical Received?

Thanks
