The problem is my first name is incorect in all dicument and also cic web site
How i could infom cio about my first name?

I believe you have to send a CSE for that.

I really hope and pray so,

AOR since February 4, 2016 and still haven't received MR....

The sad fact is, reading thru the other thread topics, there are lots of those who received their AOR during the first week of Feb (from the same CEM as mine - Manila) that have actually already received their MR.

I'm not comparing between applicants, I'm rather comparing between the processing... if CIC exactly says in the AOR that my "application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA)", then what's causing the delay with the MR?

... It's very frustrating, I can't help to feel that way ... considering I also went thru a long MPNP waiting time (20 months)...

Don't feel this way my friend. My timeline is similar to yours, MPNP took 16 months with my application. I submitted end September and also still no MR. Just keep on believing like you did with PNP, IT WILL COME, and this process is way shorter than PNP my friend.

I have another question for all of my fellow forumites that are inland:

1) Is there any way of obtaining a work permit without positive LMIA once you have MPNP LOA and submitted to CIC for PR ?
2) Is there any way of getting to Canada (except visitors visa) whilst still waiting for PR ?
3) If the answer to the questions above is negative, how did you guys pull it off to become inland? ;D

1) you can only get it if your nomination is tied to a job offer. In that case, you will get a "Work permit support letter" that allows a LMIA-exempt closed WP. Otherwise, no.

2) TRV is the only logical way. WP needs to be LMIA, study permit needs course offer. And why would you apply a course if you can pay 1/3 the price after getting PR?

Just asking because we are desperate to settle in Canada and begin our life there, the waiting is taking it mental toll at this stage ;D

Thank you for the feedback though, this is what my research have shown as well. Wont be able to take any of those routes as they will probably take just as long as the remainder of our PR Visa route.

If I knew it was going to take this long we would have gone the Study Visa for wife and open WP for me 2 years ago. But hey, let bygones be bygones

I am not trying to prove you wrong here ferrari but I would love to see some proof that this does shorten the processing time of ones application. I have considered this numerous times but have not seen any hard evidence that this helps.

Does anyone have any concrete evidence that this saves time on the application? I will give the person +100 points for helping me with this ;D

There is no proof upfront saves time. The only time saved is between MR email and booking with the doctor. Depending on the country it could be 3-4 weeks.

You cannot have your medicals unless you have the MR email that your VO sent to you. You will need to bring that when you do your medical tests. Each one of you has his/her own medical request.

I dispute your comment Jasllen. You can do an upfront medicals. Check out May /June, 2015 applicants timeline, some applicants did upfront medicals but am not sure if it speeds up an application process

I think those who are doing upfront medical are inland applicants. I think its not advisable for outland applicants. But its always up to you..
