The issue is not just about IRCC, some time they can be halted at the airport and will be asked for the exemption or relief of military duty. and that's another story
If he was invited, this would be an issue for sure. He would be stopped at the airport and refused going to another country as he received an invitation, he has to do the military service and he did not respond to it.

I asked about 'carte de situation' and I have been told that it does not exist, the only document is 'carte jaune' and in his case we can't get that as he is not exempted he just still not invited.
Can't he find a medical illness or something? I knew a guy who faked asthma and knew some people. Lol.

No one is saying he has no point tbh. I see him thinking about moving to Germany as he's frustrated with IRCC and wrote in response to that :)
I'm not moving to Germany because of IRCC. It was always my plan B. I was a bit relieved that I won't have to worry about learning German since my eligibility was completed. I still stick to my point. Getting an ADR after eligibility is completed is extremely brutale.

Thanks for the suggestion, I just posted my question there.
So the application can't be refused even if we have no documents proving that he has not been invited to do military service?
For them to refuse there has to be a clause for rejection and there's a cadence to that rejection. When it comes to evidence, it isn't about having specific documents, it is rather about the "entirety of evidence" - which can still be done unless there are severe exceptions here. When the cadence of ADR kicks in, you should be able to do the documentation. I know a bunch of folks who had somewhat similar circumstances (Singapore residence asked for Singapore military records when they never did something like that), they were able to satisfy those ADRs. Legalfalcon should be able to shed more info on this. Common docs involve something like certificates of exemption(doesn't apply to your case very well, but there should be something similar).

@iSaidGoodDay small question
That’s my company’s mentioned web address is under construction will this be an issue ? The website is mentioned in all my employment letter heads.
They do use online presence of a company to validate employment in some capacity. But if the site is under construction, they'll use other ways. It however, can't ever lead to outright rejection or even a PFL. They can at best ask for paystubs, bank statements indicating a salary deposit from a particular month, etc.

Nursing.

Submitted: Appointment letters, letter of experience, salary slips, and bank statements.

Planning to send contract with role and responsibilities, Tax slip and annual reviews.

Anything else ?
Better send all the docs which you’re planning to send coz those are important too.

Hi all,

Please find my timeline:

Express entry outland: Alberta PNP
ITA: 19 September 2023
AOR: 4 November 2023
UCI changed sometime in November 2023
BIL: request for Bio fee received on 8 December 2023, fees paid on the same day
MEP: 9 December 2023 on gckey and tracker
BIL: 11 December 2023, letter received to give Bio
BIL: 14 December 2023 Bio given and updated on GCkey and tracker straight away
Eligibility : Completed on tracker on 10 January 2024 but Gckey still says that its in progress
Background check: in progress since start of December 2023 and status of bgc has changed as per below: NA -> we are processesing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. -> on 10 January 2023 your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

The last background status update was a little confusing as the background check on both tracker and gckey since Start of December 2023.

Sharing my latest updates:

I finally got the BIL 17 days after the medical pass (biometrics were paid at the time of the application).

I did the biometrics yesterday (9th of Feb), it was updated on the spot on the GC key but not on the tracker as of now. Eligibility went from not started to in progress on the day I got the BIL and then to complete after the biometrics were done.

BGV is in progress, and the waiting continues.

Hopefully PPRs will be rolling soon for the November people :).
