I love the RFV email tbh. It feels more human. PPR letters are blandSo yes I got the PPR. It's 'get ready for visa' email but no letter on my gckey, I guess it's normal process.

It's been two weeks for me getting exactly same update, but no portal 1 yetNice! Expect an approval email within a week or two.

I called too and the agent seemed very annoyed She didn't say anything about BG checkingI call IRCC today , looks like I'm really stuck in background and eligibility. thought I would have gotten something new but the agent just repeated was on the tracker . Lol I was just like ok.
They are usually annoyed because 90% of the calls usually it's about a status update. Especially when the file is in security check because the ball is not in their field anymore. They rely on CBSA and CSIS for this so...I called too and the agent seemed very annoyed She didn't say anything about BG checking

As an outlander if I ever need status updates, I think I will resort to GCMS. Yes, it takes a long time and it's not fully up-to-date but nothing is better than seeing the whole picture of your file yourself. They are usually annoyed because 90% of the calls usually it's about a status update. That was their status 2 days ago. I doubt things would've changed significantly.Did you got any update?
You'd be surprised how often IRCC can prove you wrong(in a good way).As an outlander if I ever need status updates, I think I will resort to GCMS. Yes, it takes a long time and it's not fully up-to-date but nothing is better than seeing the whole picture of your file yourself.
That being said, and just by watching these threads it appears they are giving PPRs and Final Decisions to people in the transport category. I guess the next will be most likely French ones because Leila got her PPR yesterday. Then at last, it will be general category folks (my category lol).
It depends, @LeilaOzawz was a general draw (I know that for a fact because I had to refuse the ITA received on sep 26th). I myself french draw BG not completed yet. It really depends on your profile. For example As Leila said she didn't have a travel history while me on the other hand I've been into several countries. As an outlander if I ever need status updates, I think I will resort to GCMS. Yes, it takes a long time and it's not fully up-to-date but nothing is better than seeing the whole picture of your file yourself.
