our timelines are very similar....looks like they are looking in to Jan AOR i.e. Nov paper and Dec online applicants now

Processing time is 24 months so you should have 0 expectations of when it should come especially since you literally applied 4 months ago.

You will get the test invite via email and the tracker will also update you have nothing to be concerned about unless the 24 months has passed and you have no update, my friend background was completed 3 months after she applied and she never go the test until 11 months after and then her ceremony 5 months after that so 4 months in and BG already done you are lucky.

Hello all,

We submitted our family citizenship application on Nov 17th and it reached them on Nov 22nd.
We are from Onatrio. We received AOR on Jan 19th and no other update so far after that.

When we are trying to create an account to check our status it is not allowing us, keeps throwing some error.

Did anyone else face this challenge?

I see that a lot of family Citizenship applications from Ontario have already moved ahead and have even completed test. I was wondering why this delay. Also, why aren't we able to create the account at all. We are lost as to whom to contact for these challenges and how to contact since there are no phone numbers.

clear your browser cache and attempt the process again. Was able to create my tracker only today since i received AOR on the 19th of Jan

Yes, I tried today in incognito and it worked, not sure if it took them that long or was it my browser.

Technically, ECAS is an Enterprise Cyber Authentication Solution developed by the Human Resources Development Canada and is used widely by many governmental departments to authenticate a person who intends to use a governmental service or access information that require personal credentials.

What people commonly refer here to as ECAS is a variety of web portals designed to provide information on the status of visa applications.

I've received a fingerprint request email but nothing in the tracker after AOR. Is that normal?
I see others get the request on the tracker before receiving the email.

If you are asking response time for test update to be complete is couple of weeks. If you are asking for oath invitation then it is one to three months.

Same here. My dad applied in November 2022, my mom August 2022, both got a ghost update March 2nd, nothing changed in the tracker. Both have background complete, physical presence, prohibitions and language skills "in progress", and citizenship test and oath "not started". Both didn't need language proficiency proof and will not need a test since both are over 55. Not sure if the language and test steps will even get an actual status update since there aren't really actions there.
