Not lazy, backlogged. It appears they have been somewhat centralized to become the main citizenship application processing centre.
I'm not sure what's going on. I don't think they're lazy either. I think there's been some kind of policy change. The LPPs pretty much stopped as of March 27 and have yet to really resume at the pace they were going. There have been a few trickling out, but nothing like before. If this persists for another month, maybe it'll piss me off enough to do some ATIP citizen journalism.

I’d like to ask those on the forum who’ve completed the oath process: How long did your ceremony typically take? I have a prior commitment scheduled for the same day and want to determine whether I’ll need to reschedule it, depending on the ceremony’s duration. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

In total, it took about 1.5hrs in person. I think it's a good idea to schedule 3 hrs off if it includes drive time as well.

The E-certificate download instructions say that if you’ve used the IRCC portal for a temporary residence application before, you can re-use your credentials.

Has anyone here who used the IRCC portal for temporary residence applications in the past used NEW credentials for the citizenship certificate? I don’t know if the certificate will be available on both and so I don’t want to rely on the “wrong” one.

Question: how do you find out which office is processing your application? I'm on the same timeline as some folks here. Test completed in Feb. Radio silence post that.

Either call IRCC or get ATIP.
I'd say ATIP is much better as it provides lots of info. Downside is, it takes 30 days but still better than aggressive IRCC call centre reps who just want to hang up ASAP.
