Anyone see they have updated the IMM0008 form? It wasn't updated when we sent ours off in mid November but says the new form was updated Novemeber 2015

OMG I started working on my application August 2015 and I didn't check the forms if they were updated before submitting my application last Sunday. I just checked the updated form IMM008 and didn't see anything new, hope my application will not be returned because of this.

You should be alright since this is the only form they've updated, surely they can't return all November applications for a form that they updated in the last few days of November.

I think i'm sol. They didnt actually receive mine until Dec 1 but it wasn't updated when I checked on Nov 29.

Sent application for my wife on 23rd November. Received at CIC centre on 27th November 2015 by R.Masood. Since I asked her to apply for visitor visa before we got married, she got one for a year. Once I bring her here, will apply for extension.

If you check the october thread, applicants from oct. 13 are receiving their AOR's right now. Just count how many weeks from then you filed, and you should have a rough estimate of when you can expect your AOR (allowing for a week off for christmas I'd assume?).

My app arrived Nov16, so they're 5 weeks from my date, (+1 week for Christmas/New Years), and I get an estimated date of January 15th for an AOR, if all goes well. Here's hoping!

I don't think they Work on Saturdays

I think your right about the emails just being delayed
It was one of those emails that dont allow you to reply back

Ive gotten email like this from other government agencies on a Saturday too, and I know for sure they were closed and not working on the weekend

So check your emails on Saturdays and even Sundays too!

Once we October 2015 are through ....it's will be November's turn and it appears that we are moving quickly

Sent my application to Mississauga last Nov.29, 2015 thru xpresspost (Canada Post), I expected that it will be delivered on Dec.3, when I tracked my parcel, the status online says '' Out for Delivery'' but unfortunately it was never delivered until now. Is there anyone who experienced this?

Awww, sorry to hear that. Have you tried contacting Canada Post? Maybe you can call them and ask if it really has been delivered?

Yes, this happened to me. It was routed out incorrectly and took 4 days to get to Mississauga. I paid for Xpress Post as well. I also had tracking & signature.
I went online to Canada Post and requested a refund. I ended up getting a refund for $18 from Canada Post. You should request a refund. So, did your tracking show it as delivered? Did you save your receipt?
