Hi guy my wife submit my application at 14 november and my medical will expire at 31 dec 2014 im worrying alot hope they start working on my application before 31 dec pray for me guys thanks you all

Why did you do your medical one year before applying? They won't speed up your processing. They will ask you to do another though.

Hey,

The first stage of the application are taking 60 days to complete so since you submitted on Nov 14th you should hear back on the SA by Jan 2nd week and then it gets transferred to the visa office. Medical expiry wont be a problem cause the worst they will ask the applicant to retake the test.

I don't think they would just deny it, they would most likely request new medicals! don't worry.

How long is medical valid for??i dont remember whether any expiry was mentioned?? I did mine last week of july 2014

They are not going to reject it. They will just request you to resubmit the medicals dont worry

Medicals are good for 12 months.

New processing time: 61 days. Working on applications received on October 16, 2014.
Why does it take so long to process S/A?

So it looks like I will part of the November group. I initially sent my application in September but CIC sent back my application in November because they wanted the updated August form. I sent the application back along with the updated form on November 10th.

Hopefully everything goes well from this point onwards.

How long after you sent ur application in September did they returned your package?
Just one form and they sent it all back to u?
Some of us, including me, also sent the old form but we are still on hold :-/
Hopefully they won't return it :-(

Sorry to hear about that but that was very harsh from them.

Did they return your entire application or requested you to send the updated form.

We were asked to send the updated August form and we received SA after 30 days from sending the new form. I think that the constant calls to CIC after submitting the new forms did play for us.

I have not got S/A yet as the processing time is 61 days. Sent in November

Lucky you. They sent the entire application back to us, along with a letter requesting for the updated form. I will give them a call as soon as the 60 days from the day they received the application are up.
