November 2014 Outland Applications

Thanks to everyone who replied to my previous messages few days ago! I have an update. Today I received an email request for passport photos and copies! This is only the second time I'm hearing from them, I or my partner still haven't even received SA, only AOR email. I think our processing centre was Ottawa since they are asking me to send the passport copies there? (it was supposed to be London)

It already says decision made under permanent resident application but they haven't really informed me what the decision was either. Of course I can assume it was positive since they are requesting passport copies and photos. Also, I did already include passport copies and recent photos in my application but I'll just send them again since they are requesting it :

For those November applicants who are still waiting for their SA and AORs, I called them again today and I was told they do not have any further information and I can call them back in 2 or 3 weeks! Basically there is no point of even calling them anymore...

No, I haven't even got the AOR...My application was received on Nov. 27th but nothing so far...All I have is a file # which they gave me when I called... No AOR, no missing documents, no emails, no SA, nothing so far... I have to wait I guess...I am glad you got yours...it gotta be a relief...Best of luck

I know after these many days i was scared at once all the worsed things that were coming to my mind but Thank GOD i got my positive news...Anyways thanks
And..I have no idea what should come next or how we will be notified or who will ve notified. ..:/

Don't worry you are next you will get your AOR and SA..

Woww congrats can i ask when u got ur aor? My visa office is also london and i also just recived aor at 29 january im 13 nob applicant still no sa yet u gave me alitle hope

Jpsant mean all applicants whos visa office is london thier files tranfer to ottawa? Hope this happen coz london update thier processing time from 11 monhts to 29 monhts

^I don't think all London applications are going to Ottawa but it's possible it'll happen to yours if you don't have the SA with the location yet. Hopefully some applications going to Ottawa speeds up the process for everyone though so nobody has to wait 29 months, that's ridiculous!

I got AOR on Feb 13th. Are you able to log onto the online service? I was able to see there that a decision was made on the sponsorship application on Feb 17th, even though they haven't contacted us regarding it. But even if your SA is taking longer, it can't take that long and maybe your process will be as speedy for the second part!

Omg omg received SA today....cic surprised me by sending SA by post... Guys dont forget to check your mail box, my husband received AOR by email whereas SA by post. All the best to november applicant... Wish you all speedy visa.

Have patience, I know its easy to say but every passing second makes it tough and dont forget to check your mail box, email (sponsor's email) , spam folder as well. Wish you good luck and hope you hear good news soon...

Re: Son Sponsorship

I sent an application to sponsor my son back on Sept 2nd 2014 to Mississauga Service center ,and since then I did not hear back anything. I tried to call the center several times, send complaints through CI website without luck? I live outside Canada. If any have an idea what is the best choice for next step.

Yes i can it just shows application recieved and medical result hve been received nothing else and hope mine also go to ottaw and also best of luck hope u get ur visa doon and give all of us goodnews whit hope
