November 2014 Outland Applications

Hello,

I just received my SA today (Application was sent Nov. 27th). My wife is Korean and we expected the application to be sent to Manilla for Stage 2. However in the SA email I received, it appears that they sent it to Ottawa.

Has anyone else had this happen? Or know what it means?

My application is still under review. Application was received on Nov 12, 2014. Not sure why its taking such long time just for sponsor approval. no updates on my case.

Just call them, from now on I will call them everyday. Be polite though and patient...

I have seen sometimes applications of some applicants been sent to Mississauga and their actual visa office was London. because apparently London visa office is really busy and the processing time is very long. If Manila's processing time is also long, that's possible they evaluate everything here in Canada

Seems like you and I are on same page. Its very frustrating. Calling them everyday is not going to speed up the application process. We have no choice other than waiting. Hope we will get some good news soon.

I know! Skystar was Nov 25th too, don't know what happened to him/her....

Also different agents talk differently...I have called 3 times so far and totally different...First agent gave me my file #, the second agent didn't even ask my name! and she just said I have to wait, the 3rd agent checked my status of application and claimed that she is going to email my officer and get more info...

OmG omg this means that we can not trust them even if if spend time calling them..I don't know why its taking so long, I understand that they have to do their own research but come on?? More than 3 monthss..imagine the 2nd process bcs if it was for this and the only one it wouldn't of matter at all.But, looking forward there is another process that is waiting for us and its longer..
Anyways, hopefully we get positive news since its been this long lets hope for the best..

2. Medical result have been received.

The question is Nov 21, 2014 that is the date CIC received my application on Mississauga, so will I receive any email about AOR2?

Just thought i'd contribute my timeline too since it's been helpful to follow everyone else's

SA Feb. 24/15
VO - Bucharest

From the time they received my application it was exactly 85 days when i got the AOR, like it said on the website.

Hold tight everyone, this is really just the beginning and if you lose your marbles now, then it's not going to be any easier for part 2.

Sometimes reading the forum gives me hope, but sometimes when i read that other people's applications are moving forward and mine is not, it's freaks me out too..

So I see some of you freaking out right now... and it's hard to stay distracted, but try to get your mind off of it a little. Time will go by faster that way, and the waiting will hurt less I think.

CIC's processing style is so random. We can't do anything besides waiting.

This morning I received my AOR...finaly!
By the same time I learned CIC received my application on Dec 5th and not Nov 28th like the postman told us in France.
Just to say I was about to call, so worry about having no news from CIC, while in fact I had the wrong date to calculate.
Maybe there is others like me, my one cent
