if you read his response it clearly states he received an email FROM CIC regarding a form. that is how he sent it to them, but responding to their request. the call center agent is right, you can't do anything about it until CIC requests it, if they do at all.
 
no im an october applicant! but got an e-mail on november 25th my form was the new form, so I still don't know why they asked me the form again, maybe they didnT' see it or since we intend to live in Quebec my wife didn't had to sign the form, maybe they made a mistake there and they ask the form again....

I thought ur application was send in on nov 25 hehe cause that's when I got mine sent.

well i sent the form on the same day I got the request,november 25th. they didn't returned my application they only sent me an e-mail asking for the form...
 
I am Canadian but live outside Canada in the US. When I look at the call centre, you can only really call if you are inside Canada. Does any sponsor live in Canada that can call and ask what is up with the S/A? They indicate on the website you are able to call once you are beyond the posted time. I am fine to call if anyone knows a number from the USA that would get the same people?

the call center will only accept calls from within canada. some people have had luck using the 613 number from outside of canada, i did not. it is the same number, just uses 613 instead of 866. all it did was bounce me over to the same line as the 866# and disconnected me. so i guess it's dependent on the person.

the call center won't help you until you are past the processing time listed online, so if you are still within the time frame online, there is no point in calling. only the sponsor can call and inquire on sponsor approval info.

no luck getting through.. basically said too any callers, and kicked me off. Hopefully someone else will have better luck. The number I called outside of Canada was 1-613-944-4000 and followed the prompts, which sent me to the Call Centre.

I've got mine sent on the 25th of Nov also..Hmm I'm afraid CIC is not updating anything..

My guess is that processing time will be updated to 90 days. =(

Its still stuck at 16th October. There has been no update since past 3 weeks. When you call them, all they say is that they are still working on 16th Oct., and so there has been no update. All they are doing is playing with our patience.
