OMG new update 81 days what cic is doing im on day 60 i was happy that just one day left but now 81 and our all nov applixants forms is also old we dnt know what will happen whit us

That is so unfair.. I mean, that's ridiculous =(
I can't believe.
So, they're working on Oct 16th forever ago and now they're working on application received on october 20th?!
Outrageous!

Hii evreone been busy but just checked in cic and it says 81 days...i was shocked then logged in to this forum ..relieved i got company ..may lord fulfill our wishes very sooon

they worked on 3 days worth of applications for 3 weeks?!

I REALLY hope it starts going the other way during the next updates. Its nuts.

I don't know what their policy is.. but I am sure it's not to give the best to their clients lol
My mood just turned grey when I saw 81 days on the website.

perhaps it's related to the # of applications received in a specific period of time. delays in processing don't always have to do with the working habits of CIC officers. it is quite common for timelines to increase and decrease based on application volume. i'm sure not every single person who applied has found this forum and put their name on a spreadsheet. it's quite possible this time of year the volume is higher. applications don't stop being delivered just because it's a holiday season. CIC doesn't hire more employees when #s go up, so the same number of officers are handling applications whether there are 100 or 1,000 or 10,000.

Forget about earlier this year. This time last year the processing times were 28 days. 28!

while the wait for sponsor approval may have been shorter, it doesn't mean the total processing time was shorter. US citizens who applied this time last year took 8-10 month total processing, not the 6 mo or less seen since this summer. As a march/april 2014 applicant, i know i was approved BEFORE some dec., jan and feb applicants. so it's all perspective. also, there were A LOT of changes internally in cic, with office reorganization being a big one. there is definitely a cyclical factor to it, so checking out visa office spreadsheets may help show variations.

Hello all,
just handed in my application for me and my baby, my hubby is the sponsor. has any one know how long we will wait before hearing from CIC? Application is done for both me,hubby and baby since hubby was granted refugee status in canada now applied pr including us he is in Quebec and we in East Africa, if any one has an idea on how long it will take us pls feel free to help.
