November 2014 Outland Applications

Hello all,
just handed in my application for me and my baby, my hubby is the sponsor. has any one know how long we will wait before hearing from CIC? Application is done for both me,hubby and baby since hubby was granted refugee status in canada now applied pr including us he is in Quebec and we in East Africa, if any one has an idea on how long it will take us pls feel free to help.

Seriously... 81 days. I hope they are really fast on the tail end of it then like rcohen said. This is beyond disheartening, especially when you look back through spreadsheets, even as recently as the summer and see how fast people were getting their stuff. I was waiting for a letter of Canadian employment FOREVER, or else I could have submitted back in the summer, and not be stuck in this crap! So frustrated...

Look at the Oct spreadsheet, that time frame is going to increase the next time they update it. There are people on day 85 who only have an AOR and no SA. I'm on day 77, I'm hoping to have SA within the next two weeks, at their present pace.

Have been always following this thread and feel better that Im not alone waiting the whole time.
Currently Im just so worried about the Nov updated form because I actually sent the old form but I sign my name with the date before the form was updated.
I hope CIC will accept the old form since it will be really frustrating to wait for more.
I have heard others who have sent the old forms in the early last year, CIC actually left their applications behind without asking them for a new form so they were just waiting without knowing what was wrong.

hi friend i also sent old form and i think all nob applicants sent old form so anything will happen it will happen fkr all nov applicants hope somthing good happen for all of us inshallah and best of luck

Wow, I am not alone! I have been constantly check CIC website. The processing time keeps increasing weekly....

Nope, they won't accept it. It happened to me as well. I had 45 days to resubmit the updated forms and had to restart from the beginning.

Well I send my application on the 4th November 2014 and it was received on the 5th November 2014 so that puts me 71 days ago and the cic website says 81 days so that means another 10 days lets see if I will get any response in 10 days or we will get another update from cic about the increase of the waiting time :'( :-[

Oh elle really? But the processing time of yours is really fast! you sent it in Sep 2014 but your passport has already been requested in Jan 2015! how come its so fast if you have to restart from the begining again?

Apparently, Manila visa office does request passports early in the process. Also, I restarted when it was like only 40 days to get sponsorship approval. Now what 81 days

Just to make things clear, I initially sent our papers (I'm the sponsor) in late Aug. Unfortunately, had to resubmit forms. They got the updated forms on Oct 2nd... I called them and been told I had to restart the counting lol (it is actually written on their website - they start processing applications AFTER THEY RECEIVE A COMPLETE APPLICATION PACKAGE). It is not considered "complete" if you submit outdated forms. I consider myself as an October applicant and not August lol since that was when they got my "complete application". But then again, it was still fast since Manila visa office requested my husband's passport after 2 months of being approved as a sponsor.

You guys will get a letter via email stating to send the updated forms to an address different from where you first mailed it, just so they put it together with your other papers. Give them a call to see if you can do it now even before they tell you so...not sure
