I don't know but I'm afraid..I have sent the august form for the IM 0008...They received my package on the 25th of Nov.. and the form has been updated 2 days before..

theres nothing you can do about it except wait and see what cic decides to do.

We both live in New Zealand and the only phone number they give is for someone living in Canada. We are trying to get hold of someone in Canada now so they can phone on our behalf, if that is possible.

Does anyone have a number we can call from outside of Canada? This is pretty frustrating given the level of customer service we are used to these days

Yes the 1800 number can only be reached from Canada but you can call 1-613-944-4000.
This is the global Canadian trade commission's umbrella number(foreign trade, immigration etc); once you call that number hit 1 twice to be transferred to immigration. The call gets routed to the 1800 number, from there follow the your usual process to reach an agent.

My tip, its best to call at 8AM local time and hit 2-1-1-0 to reach an agent after you have to routed to immigration

If you can't get that fixed with the doc.. they will probably ask you to redo the medical exams.

Yes, can anyone who calls please update the Forum? I don't want us all to call, and bog them down more, but if we have one designated speaker that would help. I am on day 64 for my sponsorship, but being Canadian, I know how it is around the Christmas holidays for the government. Basically, most people will have been off from December 23rd until January 5th, so things may just be a bit delayed. Hopefully they will be working hard this week and next to get the approvals out! As well, someone seemed to have changed our table that we had created for November applications. someone moved around the tabs. I only have it on my phone, and can't make changes. Anyone who is technically savvy, are you able to fix the columns back to how they were originally?

Hi.. I'm glad you figured that out =D
I think everyone is sort of freaking out because of the processing time and being away, etc, etc..
I agree with @jennylee844 in regards to having someone call the Call Center and request information. A sponsor would be the best person to do so..
Hopefully someone comes up with more info.

Hey.. I was going to email CIC and request them some info about the delay but then I realized I can't because I still have to wait about 20 days for my application to be at 61 days.
It shouldn't be a difficult email to send if you can't call.

not just that - they are working on applications received Oct 17th. You may have to wait a little bit. They are picking up though.

It hasn't been updated for 2 weeks or so.. who knows where they are now?! =( haha

Even if I called the call center they told me my best best would be to send the form anyway....so I did that and now around christmas I called and they told me they got the form and NOW my app is complete... hopefully will get SA sometime in January, some people say you have to wait the normal processing times stated on cic websites since they got the requested documents and someothers say it's after the 45 days that you got the letter....

How did u do that?
you just sent in the new form?
my Spouse called CIC last month about the new form and they told him not to do anything until they open our app..
you sent it without UCI or anything?
Can u let us know better?
