Is it mandatory to request the GCMS or CIO/CIC will be sending it directly after sending the AOR?
My ecas status still shows as "application received". I received my AOR on 10th Jan 2014 and filed my appl on 25th Nov 2013. Do you guys have any thoughts on this status.

It will stay on this status ie application received for the next 8 months to 1 year until they start processing.

These are the statuses on ecas

1. Application received on....
2. We started processing your application on....
3. Medical results have been received.....
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office would be contacting you soon.
5. Completed.

Time lag between 1 and 2 is the longest. After 2 it is all done in 2 or 3 months.

My CEC is at step 1.
My FSW is at step 4.

But I am not sure what you mean by CEC and FSW. Did you apply under both categories at the same time?

Applied for FSW in Feb 2013

Could anyone let me know if I can resend my one of the two experience/work letters provided earlier for the CEC. One of the experience work letter provide clearly mentioned about my work experience that fits to the the NOC class applied. However, the second one did not mention about my experience and specialization area, but provides information about my working hrs, pay, since how long I have been employed etc.

My question .......Could I resend the second work experience letter now clearly stating my status?
Experienced group plz reply to this post.

hello everyone, i send my doc in Nov. application was return on 20th Jan and reached my home on 4th Feb. Now that i have everything, i send it back last week. the only form i changed was IMM008. Rest all had no change on the CEC website and had CIC Mail room stamp with date to it.

Do you think it should be fine as i called CIC call centre, they told to send the previous ones that has not changed. I provided them with additional doc like Affidavit for my spouse, another copy of IELTS etc..

also since most of my forms had date of Dec,2013, should i consider my self new in the queue and follow the Feb, 2014 cycle or be with you in Nov, 2013 cycle.

thoughts/tips are helpful as i am just losing time due to simple mistakes.

Guys quick questions

1.I gave IELTS on June 2011 so it will be expired on June 2013. As far as i know I dont need to send any new scores. Please confirm me on this
2. I think this was asked before too. I was not working and on EI at time of application for CEC. Should i inform them that I started working..I will start working from 15th March now.

I am planning to take 2 weeks vacation, visiting back home in the month of April 2014. Also, I thought that it will be good if I do my upfont e-Medical (coz its cheap compared to Toronto).

Well if you are sure of your eligibility then I don't think there is any reason you can't go for it. I will also check the forum to see what is best place to do medical from home country..

Thanx Gladaki. But, honestly looking to couple of spreadsheets (Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun) I see very few of them are rejected after they receive their AORs. And I have a strong feeling that I am 100% eligible for CEC (God's Grace). And all together it would be just 3-4 months earlier I would be doing my upfront Medicals. Also, since it would be valid for 1 year long I am sure by that time I will get my CEC's decission.
Also, there is only one facility appointed by CEC in whole province back home so I don't have any more options except that one doctor.

Appreciate your suggestion.

not sure but your ielts already expired because have two year validity but i dont know how they issue aor so may be they count it.
