NOVEMBER 2013 APPLICATIONS

I have filled my application on Nov 25th and got my AOR.

As my passport is about to expire in next one year, if I applied for renewal of my Passport, and get the renewed one with new expiry date and other updated details? Do I need to again fill my forms and send them after getting my reniewed one? Please suggest.

No..usually its status when ur filing ur application....get it renewed and inform cic by email.....

For your Information..

I have applied BOWP on Jan 16th 2014 and today i got an update that my application has been approved. It took 15 days.Now am waiting for the hard copy of my work permit.

Hi Guys,

Need your advise at the earliest.

My work permit expired on December [i applied for PR on November 2013]. Today I got a call from my employer that my LMO has been rejected and I have to leave the country in 3 weeks.

I would like to know if there is a way to get BOWP. Any information is really appreciated.

I really want to give it a try, please let me know the link to apply for the same.

i think you have to apply status restoration and bowp together its cost more but you will get bowp

No in order to apply for the BOWP the wp status should be valid.

To be eligible for a bridging open work permit, the applicants must:

Currently be in Canada;
Have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within 4 months;
Have received confirmation from CIC that their permanent resident application is eligible under one of the four Economic Classes (FSWP, CEC, PNP and FSTP), and;
Have made an application for an open work permit.

Hi ganan d,
Do you mean to say that first we have to apply for Opne work permit and then only we can apply for BOWP? If one has a valid work permit and about to expire in the next 4 month can he directly apply for BOWP?

got my t4 for 2013 now waiting for pcc from indian embassy and noa from cra and i renew my passport and wp after submitting my file.
so have to submit my all document to my file.

Any one from nov requested gcms yet .? People from sept started getting their RCMP request...so I think it's safe to say we can see some activity on gcms ..I am thinking of applying one in march end

You can request GCMS notes at any time. But there won't be any useful information for now, only if you've updated
CIC with a new passport or information about your application, as this will reflect in your notes.
All that's going to be in process in criminality and security, nothing else.

There won't be anything new in your next set of notes, wait for a couple on months. Until April / May or so....

I received my AOR on 10th Jan, 2014. I have to send my additional educational document to CPP-O. Could you guys let me know the address.
