Hello Karan,

I had the similar idea too yesterday, I hope Delhi Office start processing it faster if they are the ones that holding the line... :)

I must say, as of now, waiting for the wife, and living without her is the hardest part of all...the Loneliness is very torturing, specially when you been just back from Delhi after spending quality month with the family and wifey! and hoping at least by now the first stage would be completed... :(

Well, better late then never, and patience is something we have to hold on to!
Seems like we are in the same boat. I totally share the pain

Finally!!! My husband got an email saying he's met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. I kinda can't believe it yet (which is why i wrote the phrase here so someone can correct me if that's not the approval after all).
I'm so happy and I hope everyone else gets theirs really soon too!!!

congratulations m_and_m, could you please tell me the title and the email address he received the email...so that I make sure if we receive it, it doesn't go in the junk mail... :)

cheers

Thanks :) It says "application" and "sponsorship" in the title plus our file number. And it came from "OttPilot"-address :)
I don't have the email yet so unfortunately i don't know more...I hope this helps a little at least!

Congratulations. Can you please tell what does the email say about application received date. Was it Nov 8 or after. Will give an idea what date applications they are working on. Not that it matters as they are all over

Thanks
K

Congrats m and m!!!!! Now on to Stage 2!

Thanks :)
Yes it was received on november 8th. When my husband contacted them the last time (yesterday), they said the processing time on their website means they are working on applications received until that date but it doesn't mean they're done with the previous ones. I hope you receive good news soon!

Thats where my approval came as well. And it is definitely an approval. :)And certianly explains why some of the processing times were so off.

To all Nov 2012 applicants,
Congrats to all who have got approvals :)
I have question about medical exam form IMM1017 that needs to be submitted with spousal application.
I heard with the new system(e-medical) Copy1 of IMM1017 is to be submitted as to the old Copy 2 IMM1017. My wife did her medical and the physician gave her the old form. Does any1 know if they are still accepting the old forms? I guess not all panel physicians are updated to the new e-medical system. Any comments will be appreciated!!!Thanks. :)

Well I sure hope they still accept the copy 2 of the old IMM1017...that is what the Dr. gave my husband and son. They had their medical exams done Nov 15 in Phoenix AZ and that is what we submitted with our application. We received our AOR and Sponsor approval, so hopefully that means someone reviewed our file for completeness and did not decide that it had to be returned to us for incorrect form. Only time will tell if its a problem I suppose.

Thanks Annie for your reply. I also hope they should accept the old form ...all the best to us :)

Hi all....
First I just wanna say congrats to all who have recently received approval especially those who applied early in November, it really makes me feel more hopeful about hearing something this up coming week... On another note my life has been a total mess lately. I have been in and out of the emergency room for the past two days because for the second time in my life I have another blood clot in my left leg :( it is very very very painful and difficult for me to walk, and I also have to follow up with lots of doctors appointments because they have put me on blood thinners and they need to test my blood frequently t make sure that is not too thick or too thin. So of course, I didnt get to leave to go to canada and be with my husband today :( I am very sad about it, but also thankful that I got this blood clot while I was still in the US where I'm covered by health insurance and didn't get all the way up to Canada and discover it then have to leave last minute. I don't know when I will be able to go back, I guess it's up to the doctors to tell me. I just want to get better and not be in pain and get my life back on track and not be alone anymore :( but I have to look on the brighter side and say at least it takes my mind off of waiting for this whole immigration thing lol. Hope to see some good news next week everyone, there's only a few of us left!
