Welcome to the thread, I've added you to the spreadsheet.
It seems that your medicals indeed have made it to London, and since you already have the AOR from stage 1, I suppose you will soon hear back from CIC regarding the sponsorship approval - it doesn't say "decision made" on the sponsorship part already? I suppose not because otherwise you would have told us....

There is also a thread for London if you want, and the spreadsheet is open for all to add, so feel free to add yourself to the spreadsheet for London ( the link is in my signature).

Good luck,
Sweden

Hi Sweden,

Thanks for your fast reply,

Yeah its said Decision made since i first logged onto the site, is that good or bad? I'm so rubbish on this thing lol...

I just went and clicked onto the Decision Made and here is what it says "Thompson on November 14, 2012.

We sent you a letter on November 23, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I noticed the alternative address is our lawyers, she sent us a email which had attached the approval from the sponsorship.

I just checked the attached letter here is what it says

"This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of ************.

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing."

Welcome nthompson!

Sounds like great news, hope the process continues smoothly and welcome!!

Indeed! that's good news, it means that you have been approved and you're done with stage 1... now your file is on its way to London, congratulations and welcome to stage 2! I'll add the date to the spreadsheet - that's a fast sponsorship approval!

So now - you're done with stage 1, and the "sponsorship part" on ecas will stay as "decision made", and the part that you can start watching is the "application for PR part". If it turns into "in process" or "decision made", that's good news! :-)

Good luck for stage 2,
Sweden

Thanks Malawi :)

Woohooo Stage 2, now I need to cross my fingers and hope all goes well, only thing that makes me nervous is my CR from 12 years ago which is considered a minor. Whats chances you think I'd get interviewed for it? You ever seen anyone on these forums with a similar case?

Ah sweet, well I guess I might hear something around April/May from seeing peoples application progress on here.

Good luck everyone you will all soon get your approvals :)

Hey all,

I sent our application on the 27th, arrived in Mississauga on the 30th. We're applying for a spousal visa for my wife who lives in London, UK.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one stressing out over whether they forgot something... That application package was like a homework assignment from hell.

Fingers crossed...

My husband paied the application fee at a financial institution. It took him a week to get the form. You could go to the bank where you opened your credit card to check why you can't pay the fee on-line while waiting for the form. Good luck.

you should try and contact your bank, they are probably the ones denying it because they don't recognize it as a "safe payer" - it has happened to quite a few applicants before... so contact your bank and explain the problem you're facing, and they should be able to sort it out for you.
Good luck,

I'll add you but what is your VO ? mississauga is the same for every applicant, where does your application go to after that ?

Oh oops! The VO shall be Islamabad.

also - if you want you can now edit your profile on the forum as you have reached 10 posts. For that, go to "profile" on the right top corner, and you can add things under your name ( not compulsory of course, just in case you wanted to!)

Oh, I was wondering why I didn't have the option to edit! Will do! :)

Hmm....in what order do they process the applications? I thought it was in the order Mississauga receives them, is this incorrect?
I'm just wondering since I thought that by now people who applied in the beginning of November should've already heard from CIC... especially since some others already have their approvals!
Or am I missing something? Can't wait to see their processing time update tomorrow! :D

Hi all,
I got my AOR today, I guess it is yesterday canada time.
For me the sponsorship part is the tricky part, becouse I don't leave in canada and I lived there only as a child. ::)
SO I'm having my fingers crossed to be approved.
