App received: 15th Nov.
Med's done: 12th Oct.
AOR: 26th Nov.

Got a letter on 6th Dec. that the file has been sent to the visa office abroad for processing.

Current Status: "We received your application for permanent residence on November 15, 2012.

Medical results have been received."

What 's next to happen ???

What is your ecas saying? Is it showing in process in the place of sponsor??

as of yesterday my ecas says decision made and inside the link it says that a letter was send on dec 5th.
I saw only 2 statuses there -the first was Application recieved and then it changed to decision made. I hope that the decision is approved... I didn't get the letter yet. :-\

the colors are according to the stages.
the first row of the spreadshit lists the colors for each stage, so the light blue are the ones that got approved for sponsorship.
However, I see that it isn't all updated

I apologize for that. I just took over updating the spreadsheet and am just getting use to it. I will ensure all fields are updated tomorrow. Was just a small oversight on my part.

Ok...so apparently there are a few people who applied in December and got their stage1 approval already. Oh well. I am happy for those who have a fast process, I just wish the rest of us heard from cic too. If they were processing applications from Oct 31st last week, and those who applied on Nov 1 still haven't heard anything, isn't it strange? Or am I still trying to understand something that just can't be understood?

My hubby and I sent our papers in November 28th. I called the Post Office and they told me our package got there in November 29th, but to this day we haven't heard anything from Immigration. Is that normal?
I'm freaking out!!!

Hi Brazilian Girl,

Yes its normal. Cic posts the date on applications they are working on on the website. As we have seen, some are procrssed faster than other and it just depends on when yours gets looks at. If the date posted on the website passes the date you sent it in, then freak out!

Im in the same boat, mine arrive November 28th. and some of our group have been waiting since Nov 1.

I see that some people have stage 1 AOR and then sponsorship approval.
i received my sponsorship approval but i didn't hear anything about AOR. what is this??

also Brazillian girl if you look at average times of sponsorship approval its just over a month so dont worry im sure you will get the good news soon!

oops i suppose if AOR is acknowledgement pre approval sponsorship then mine was 13/11/2012, also medicals were done 28/08/2012.
