It means that they've created your file, so you will be receiving Med Req/ AOR shortly. It nowadays takes 30 weeks from the day of receipt which is Dec 10, 2010 for your case. But it seems that you will get it a bit sooner.

HI:
Usually once you can access your information from e-CAS it usually takes 2-3 weeks to recieve medicals. Alot of my friends information went in process just 2-3 weeks b4 getting their medicas.

Regards,
SAM

Hi,
I am new to this forum. My application has been sent to Buffalo on December 9, 2010. Still no response.

I can check my application status through e-case using client-id, but it shows my FSW case info which I withdrew on Sept. 2010 and mailing address of my lawyer which I had for FSW application. I didn't use that Lawyer for my PNP app.
Should I change the mailing address? Or they (Buffalo) will change it?

Any thought or idea would be appreciated.

Hello,

I wanted to change my address as well and hence I emailed them around 1 month ago; didn't get any response back. Sam1986 did similar thing and got a response from Buffalo not to contact them before creating File No. So, it seems that they are not going to change anything till you get your AOR/Med Req.

Your case is little different as you applied/withdrew before and your files were not removed. I'm guessing that Buffalo will eventually notice it when they will create your e-cas file. But your AOR should arrive to the mailing address you mentioned in your app. I'm not entirely sure though. ::)

To Rossei,

Thanks for your reply and sharing the info.

Hi,

Sorry did not login for quite sometime. By this time probably you received your medicals.
Anyway, I had my lawyer mail the medical request packet to me. My application was received on the 8th of November 2010.

Hey
Congrats!. How did you get your medical/AOR packet? Did you get it thru email or regular mail? My application was received by CIC on Nov 22nd. Can you share when your application was received at CIC? I have no update from the attorney also.Would appreciate your reply.

Thanks

Hello Everyone:
Finally I can check my status online. It took them 6 months to put my information online; but it does not mention my file number. All it says is that the file was recieved on so and so date. How much longer would it take from here to get AOR?

I need to make few updates on my application; is this the time to make that change or wait till I get my file number?

So my e-cas say it received my application Nov 1st.. I have not heard anything since...... is this normal????????????????

SAM, you know better. All correspondence that need to be changed should be addressed starting with the letter 'B' ;D

Anyway, congrats for e-cas

Hey Rossei:
Just found out something that can be helpful for people on these board wandering why have they not issued any file numbers?
Actually they are not displaying file numbers online, but it is issued under their system. So currently I cannot see my file number online, but when I emailed them regarding my personal updates yesterday; they emailed me back saying that BXXXXXXX is my file number and a AOR has ben dispatched on July 07, 2011.
So yes we all have file numbers created , but we cannot view for whatever reasons.
Now I have my file number and I hope my information is been updated in the system. I m sure they did, cz i emailed them to change my personal file updates; in reurn they did not mention if they were changing or not. But they will I guess, cz the main intent of my email was for updating my file.
I know Rosseis is around same time line as I am. First thing you should do once you can see online that file was recieved is to update your information.

Sam, you are fortunate enough to have it done within 6 months. I hope it takes same time as yours :D. And thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind. As I remember, you included your spouse in your app, didn't you? If you have, let us know how the AOR corresponds to her. I mean how she progresses forward with Medical and all. Thanks.

I would let you guys know when I recieve it. looks like its not gonna be delivered anytime soon cz canadapost has huge back logs to deliver first.
I Believe that its just gonna be like a AOR thing ith the file number. Usually by my observation, medicals are recieved withing 3-4 weeks from the creation of the AOR.
I belive I am 3-5 weeks away from medicals, again you never know with timline......I wish I had a crystal ball to predict things! LOL.

Let me know if anyone has been thru a caselike me and how long did it take to get medials after that.
