Lil Tim looks like a bigger crook then CIC with regard to pre 2008, I say he making using all fool. If he really good person then he should gone for no-win-no-fee.
I suggest you all complaint against him too in relevant court as one cannot make people fool like this

So "Tim" made an easy $500,000 if the backlog is legislated away.

I agree with PMM and Aquib....

Tim already knew the ill fate of the applicants and yet he goes ahead to somehow win their trust and NOW will give them the ULTIMATE BLOW of their lives.......finally betray their trust.

He will be sitting pretty on that money that he earned at the cost of BETRAYAL...

A question will still haunt me - Is this the reason why Tim asked for ONLY $500 per applicant? He knew $500 is affordable by many and many applicants will fall for this offer and at the end - HE WINS EITHER WAY. He will be a HERO, if he wins the litigation and he will gain money and ill wishes if he loses....but who cares about ill wishes.... its a WIN WIN situation for him.

I am so sorry to have come to this realization....it is really awful and pathetic. I fervently pray that I am PROVED WRONG in my understanding of Mr. Tim and that he WINS the litigation at any cost.

I remember I too thought to pay tim but then some of my friends advice me that time looks like black crow who fooling 100s of applicants giving them false hope.
Thing is if he won then regardless of his clients, everyone can raise same point and click has to decide full 100000 app at same time, plus tim food, people by telling that they will give compensation and indirectly mention figure of 20-25000 $. I mean sure he got couple of account as forum member advising people to join him.
He has misuse this forum in best way one can.
Wish people can complaint and get him punish.
Also if you have paid him using credit card then call your credit card company and told them that he is fraud. May be you can get refund

Not something that I would greatly appreciate.

The applicants were screwed first by CIC for legislating away the backlog and now the person who should be sympathetic to them being their lawyer, has decided to bin their files but will keep their hard earned monies in his pocket.

So who profited in the end. Only Tim...but listen the matter is not over yet. If he wins the case damages can still be paid back to people who participated in this case even if they get medicals (pre juners).

I liked Tim's move. He acted quite wisely. All credit goes to him........

When people lodged this case only thing on their mind was to get their case processed at any cost. If situation goes against them, they gonna blame Tim but if still it turns out in their favour they will praise Tim.

Just human nature.

who created the misery in the first place
if cic had processed the applications ....... no litigation

then when the litigation was filed, the cic did what?
dismiss the pre-feb away to moot the litigation
so who created this situation again? cic

a non-descript lawyer will charge anything upwards of $5,000 to go the honorable court
and the reputed ones charge 8,000-10,000$
(that is if you go to file the case as an individual and not as a group)
