Workforce is just as bad in ontario too So many of my friends arent even in the field they studied for.. as of me, im trying to get on a school board as a teacher, as of now i can only find private schools to work in.prvc said:Hi, janangela and bldc ;D
Wow. I didn't know $600 was already expensive for a room in Canada. Is $900 reasonable for a 1BR condo/apartment? We're movin' somewhere with that kind of price range, and I thought that was cheap. Guess I don't have a true sense of what's cheap or not anymore. And I tell ya, the wage/hr in Manitoba is not actually what you think. I believe they are one of the lowest income earners. Hehe.
But.....work opportunities in Manitoba are so seldom, especially if you don't start as a Nurse right away. I wonder what's waiting for me there. I can't work at Tims though, I'm bad at holding cups of any thing, especially hot coffee. ;D ;D ;D
But its definitely worth it to move down here ifyou find the job you love! theres also a lot of secondary industries within gta to work for.. and applying with an agency can give you short term and lead to long term jobs. when i just graduated from univ. i went with the agency called RANDSTAD and they found receptionist job for me within a month of applying with them.. i loved that job actually, great pay as well!
