Agree with you here, the work permit should have the employer details on it, so the NAFTA & intra company transferees looking to be right. So FSW is the one to be screwed, international students get 30 more points, NAFTA or instra company transferees get 50 or 200 more points.

Yup but lots of people with 360 points now won't instantly get 600 points, they will only get 410.

With new rules score will fall dramatically!! 350?!

I believe it's going to drop a bit. It's hard to imagine that companies spend ages for paper work of an lmia only to find out that they can't get the person over....

score of 350 looks to be blind guess....

What about French language points, siblings, fast track visa for global talents , Atlantic canada pilot program.?

Erm French speakers are the same as English speakers. If you speak a second language you already get points. People forget you don't have to speak English to get PR in Canada.

Nothing extra for siblings.

No news on fast track.

Atlantic pilot has a separate stream of 2000

Score definitely going to increase above 470. International students' scores tend to be around 410-444, with 30 more points, they are now 440-474. The LMIA people will also try to improve their human capital scores and with 50-200 points, they will also end up in 450+ points bracket. There is no way scores can go down below 440, let alone 400.

Hmmmm... I'm still torn here. There will be more above, but a lot will fall below the average 450 score. I think that it's simply the bell curve distribution has increased, it's now a point between 400-450, rather than a more gradual slope.

Yeah, I think the same... Not a big drop down on score but for sure higher numbers of ITA for those with lower score (EX. 450-470) instead of those with over 800 points taking most of them. thats my guess! dunno

Show me the numbers.

Guys, where did that information that there would be no draw on the 16th of November come from?
I read that multiple times in this thread. What can be a reason for that?
Sorry for the repost. But any info on that?

I understand his intentions :P

So just to confirm is there any changes in these 2 circumstances -

1. CLB9 with 3 years + of FWE get 50 points
2. CLB9 with Master's degree get 50 points.

What about CLB 9 in all with Canadian Masters and 3+ years of FWE, how many points are added according to new system, any idea about that.

Appreciate inputs.
