did you get a request to submit additional documents or you did it by yourself? also, did you have interview recommended before and it changed after your documents were received? or was it waived to begin with? thank you!!

No not by myself, only after receiving mail from ndvo i did it.

Guys i have a question why some applications from 2014 that interview doesn't required and cases are straightforward they we are waiting for long periods of time and 2015 up March getting PPRs but not us?

Same here Remedicals done Oct 21 2015, no news since them march is 17 months for us. I have done 2 mp inquiries and ordered two notes, eligibility passed, Security and criminality has still not started, i have no idea what they are waiting for, this wait is getting harder for us i haven't seen my husband for almost two years. We have no choice but to wait..

I don't know what these people are doing. Don't worry you are almost there. Do you have a lot of Travel history ??? Cause that might also be a reason for a bit delay

Can we guys start for 2014 applicants a petition to see fairness on processing applications even if a person required an interview should not wait this long they have to start calling people for interview to clean up their 2014 applications. By just leaving it aside it would pile up the way they are working on it.m

There are too many petitions already and very few people signing it.
better to use existing one and sent it to your MP office and demand fairness. If visa officer is convinced there is no reason to delay further.

I went to see my MP today and she took down all the information and she said she would do some research regarding my husband's case. Unlike other MPs she said that there is a hotline that MPs use to inquire about specific cases. I heard that usually they send an e-mail? I'm a bit confused as to how my MP is moving forward with this.

All 2014 applicant who did remedical and still waiting and have ordered notes.
Can you guys look up the File Transfer History in your GCMS notes and see where is your file with last udpated date.
Mine shows that Location Registry on Dec 1th 2015. No update since then.
I am sensing that they have shelved 2014 candidates and only dealing with 2014 candidates now. Just curious if there is a pattern here.

Hello All,

October 11th 2014 applicant and have been on DM since 25th January. Since I wasn't getting any response to case specific inq or an email back from my MP, I decided to walk into his office. Unfortunately he was in Ottawa but his secretary was pretty helpful. He took down all my details and we had a 10 minutes chat on the history of my wife's file. After he reviewed all the docs and the complete situation, he called the CIC immigration in Ottawa and spoke to someone in front of me. They verified my details on the phone and provided me the most recent update on my file. They suggested that the passport request was sent out on the 25th of January on my email and when I suggested that I haven't received it, the agent apologized and resent it to me and suggested that the email should be in my inbox in 5-7 working days which would come from NDVO's email.

The agent and MP's secretary also suggested that my timing was perfect to drop by because if the passport is not submitted in 30 days of PPR, the file gets a temporary closure suggesting that the applicant is not interested in migrating. After which it takes 2-3 months to re-open file + all the documentation formalities.

To summarize - If you get DM, please do get in touch with your MP after 2 weeks and try to get an update. Again, they will help you only if you are close to or over the 17 month period. There is no shame of walking into their office as they are supposed to help.

I hope the above was useful for you guys. Please update my status on the google sheet - DM on 25th January '16 and am expecting PPR sometime next week.

Go ahead towards vfs near by u ..and submit ur passport with a latter attested by vfs authorities...and tell them that u didn't recive any ppr email if u have a lawyer u can blame him too...they will tell u the requidd info to submitt with passport...kksmt ne tonu moka diita ea...dont waste it...try it...mine frnd also get stuck in this way...bt she submit pp on lst day...and got visa in 3 days...hope god listn ur prayers too...bst of luck

If u will wait it may lead to months...it happens with so many people...so plzz try once
