I am in almost same boat as you. Got remed on Dec 7th but in Registry since Dec 1th 2015. I think may security check is complete. But they want to do some additional check to make sure its not a fraud case or any fraudulent documents submitted.

Routinely I have seen few cases which gets delayed for no red flags in the file. I dont have any proof but I think they try to verify your documents with csis (canadian intelligence) to see all the call records, communication records is accurate. These kind of checks are routinely done for citizenship applications but less frequently done for PR. Until this is complete Visa Officer cant do anything. Once that process is complete you will get DM.

It does say updated on 2015/11/27 and location: Registry. what does security check include or mean? and how long do I wait? frustrating as HELL

Hello Guys,I have been following this forum since last few months silently. I am december 2014 applicant. And the good news is that my status just changed from In Process to DM last night. I would like to share my timeline here so that other ppl can get an idea from it.
My wife is in india and I am a Canadian citizen here.

I wanna point out something which I think will be helpful to those who hasn't got any reply from Delhi. Last week I ordered the notes online and after couple of days my status changed from In process to DM. I havent received my notes yet since it takes a month or so. I think ordering notes might speed up your process if your file is just sitting there waiting in the queue.

In that case scenario you will certainly get a full IME medical examination request since it has surpassed 15 months already - your upfront medical.

It's a good thing you applied for notes, you'll get a better understanding of what is happening. You will recieve them in 30 days. You should also reach out to your local MP and proceed with an enquiry as well.

I hope so. How do i contact the MP from my area? Should i just contact him/her and ask them to make an inquiry for my sponsoring process? While following the forum, i now know that lot of other applicants similar to that of my timeline have already received the re medical. I am wondering why they have not opened my file.

You can search for your local MP online on the government site at www.parl.gc.ca, give them a call or send an email once you locate your MP.

I strongly recommend proceeding with an MP enquiry as soon as possible, at this time they are the ones that can assist you in this matter. MP enquiry definetely helped us out when we were left clueless just like yourself and others.

I received a mail from cic yesterday to do complete medicals. I got it yesterday (21st feb) from this id <Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca>
I received last mail on 29th Dec 2015 from delhimedical@international.gc.ca and I did my reassessment (Chest X ray one) on 4th Jan 2016.

My first full medicals i did in October 2014 and immediately after that I tried for a visitor visa (which got rejected) where i enclosed this complete medical record and the same medical record I enclosed for PR as well. Don't know whats going on.

When I received my notes they have mentioned recommended waiver as they have approved the additional documents (like marriage photos, travel photos and proof of my husband's visit to Inida etc) which we sent via courrier.

Why are they asking full medicals again ? Any Senior can advice me on this ?

Your orignal medicals have been expired by more than 15 months ,therefore you got a complete remedical request .Be rest assured ,it's a good sign for you as it's considered as final stage of your application ,before they will.issue you PPR.

Ya I did case specific for email update and address change and in next 10 days I got a reply for my case specific as follows

Please be advised that on review of the application an interview has been warranted. Our office will be in touch with you with regard to the date, time and venue of your interview once it has been scheduled.

And still I dint get my interview date

I am asking cus i saw your post regarding medical and pcc to take for interview.

I am going to interview on 2nd march. my medical is still valid and and tried to get the pcc but they said you need a later asking for it from immigration. however they didnt mention anything about pcc in the interview later. what to do in this situation?

No, I got a request from ndvo on nov 9th for submitting additional documents of wedding and pre-wedding rituals, travel photos, proofs of my sponsor's visit to India, I submitted it immediately on 14th nov. After 50 days i got reassessment for medicals and then yesterday full medical request.
