Hello friends
I am new to this thread. I will sponsor my wife from India in April 2014. She got her upfront medical done in March first week. I downloaded forms from website. I got bit confused in sponsor questionnaire, section 12 where it has been asked "ARE YOU LIVING WITH SOMEONE?" What should I write there? I will be living with my Uncle's family but I don't use their money and instead give them rent. Should I show them there or not?

Without a job ,is it possible to sponsor my wife. I will find job but don't want to waste time and would like to put her application immediately. Is it wise to do so ?

kindly guide me.

thanks in advance

Hi Anshuman, if you are paying them rent and you can show that, you do not need to say you are living with anybody. In fact, showing that YOU live with someone shows that you yourself are dependent and may weaken your case. Therefore, say no there. Also, not having a job might not be the best situation to be in. Having a stable financial situation is important from a sponsorship point of view, so maybe you should consult a professional in this matter. But maybe other members can give advice as well

thanks Aki for your advise.

hi anshuman,
my reply to you for being jobless at the moment:
In case of spouse sponsorship u do not meet the minimum income requirement...just mention in the forms that u are actively looking for jobs
. I was in the same condition, but now we are going to send them the employment letter, but its not very important..
Also if you shoe enough funds that you have there will be no problem...So don't worry and look for a job and once you get it later send them the proof .

Hello there,

I am January 9th,2014 applicant. I received my sponsership approval on Feb 12th, 2014 and my file transferred to New Delhi same day. I still haven't received AOR from them yet. I need to submit my PCC as it is expiring end of april. Please advice.. how can I send it? Is there any Jan'14 applicant recieve AOR from New delhi yet? Please Advice. Thanks

Hi Guys

I received a letter from NDVO today with the file number and UCI. They asked for the following:

1. PCC if not already submitted
2. Fees if not already submitted

I submitted both in my application forms. Do I need to send anything to them? Should I send copies to them and tell them that I submitted the originals with the application but here's a copy?

From the information i gather from the forum, i would send, a covering letter explaining that i subbmited them with my application including a copy of the PCC and the Fee receipt. Good Luck on your application..

congrats for hearing from NDVO.
Do they send on you permanent address or present address , as for my spouse both are different.

Do they send the ppr soon after we receive the generic fees and PCC letter? Should I FedEx the cover letter and copies or should I submit it online? FedEx seems to be more reliable because I can save the delivery info as proof
I have read some people submit their passport when they receive this letter but this letter doesn't ask for passport. So why would someone submit it.

I received the letter as a PDF on my wife's email address. I am glad it didn't come through mail because the Indian postal service can be questionable.

Hello,

even i have not received the PPR, Received file number from NDVO (letter stating submit the fee and PCC)on 10th Feb but nothing after that...

i am also waiting for the PRR...anyone who has received the PPR recently ???

Hi April999, when you received the email for fee submission and PCC if not already sent, did you send them anything? I think it is an auto-generated email and we don't need to send anything to them till they ask for PPR. Have you received your PPR yet?

I just received the "send right to permanent residence fee receipt IF NOT already paid, and PCC IF NOT already sent" email this morning. I am still debating whether there is any use in sending them a duplicate copy with a cover letter because they already have it and the letter is auto-generated. They ask for this automatically, because we have the option of paying the right of permanent residence fee later and also PCC from different countries might take time so all people don't send it up-front and get a file number ready at least.

@DK1212, did you receive any correspondence from NDVO recently?

hey aki,

yeah, I have received one of those computer generated email asking me to send them documents if not submitted before.

I just sent them copies again just to make sure they have it.

I haven't heard anything else.

@DK1212, when did you receive the auto-acknowledgment?
