Hi All. We received AOR2 from NDVO today.

They have asked for Right of Permanent Residence Fee, which I have not paid, so will pay that online and post them the receipt. They have also asked for PCC (if not already sent). Should I write an explanation letter that I have already sent PCC or not?

In your cover letter re: receipt, just mention that you've submitted PCC with the application. If you have a photocopy of original, you can enclose it as reference.

Hi Gagan,
If you have a representative, he/she will receive the email from CIC and they will (should) forward to you. You should be getting the approval soon, based on the trend if all is good from your side it's aprox 40 working days, if not this week within next week you will get it.

People, if ALL of us, I repeat ALL of us are getting an email requesting to send PCC and proof of payment, if not sent already, then that clearly means its a generic email sent to everybody. It doesn't mean we have to send cover letters explaining we have already sent it. That is just a waste of time!

Post /courier the mail with following documents :

- Fee receipt with information filled.
- Copy of PCC which you already sent with application. ( Attached one more copy of PCC if you have).
- Copy for that AOR 2 letter which came from New Delhi via email/mail. ( It mentioned inside too).

hello friends,

my name is kishan and i have been married for last 1 year and now my wife just putted file for pr. i have applied my student visa 2 times and got rejected. how long it takes to process...

i talked with lawyer and he said your student visa wont matter in this case because its different category.

does it will effect on my rejected student visa? am i going to have to face inerview? our lawyer told us taht now a days file is moviing fast.

God knows when they vl ask for passport.is it nowadays they are asking for passport at later stage and than how much time it will take to return us back with the visa?
It's too much confusing.
It seems they are working on aug2013 file.

Did anyone get a email from new delhi saying

We have received your application for permanent residence in Canada and have created a file with the file number indicated above. Please quote this file number in all future correspondence with our office.

In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the following as soon as possible.

1.Proof of payment of your right of permanent resident fee. If not already paid.
2. Submission of police clearance certificate for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more. If not already submitted.

I already paid the full fee for sponsorship and right of permanent residence fee. 1040.00 $
I already submitted the Police clearance certificate
with the application I sent to CIC Mississauga.

Application recieved by CIC on March 18
My file was transferred to delhi on April 22 2014
I got this email on May 7 2014

I had received mail regarding same.As caution I had mailed scanned copy both PCC and fee copy along with the letter they forwarded.Also planning to send hard copies at NDVO

It's just that I haven't been asked for my passport yet..Is it they are asking for passport nowadays at later stages when they are about to issue visa?
My wife says that I have a travel history that is why they haven't asked for passport so that I don't have problem travelling abroad.
I am nov 2013 application.
Are there more people like me who haven't received ppt?

I too have not received a ppr. I am a December applicant and so I was concerned. I ordered notes and contacted my mp to make an enquiry. I will update about the status of my application when I have news. I think that alot of ppl still have not received ppr who applied at the same time
