I have also stayed in Canada more than a year. I didnt submit my Canadian PCC to NDVO. In the past i had discussed with some other members too
regarding the Canadian PCC, and i was told to get it done asap. But i didnt apply for it.
Then finally i had called NDVO about this. They told me did any body ask you to submit your Canadian PCC ? I said no. Then they said you dont need
to submit your Canadian PCC.
I had discussed with my lawyer too about this . He advised me NDVO can check your criminal record with RCMP by their own. If your name conflicts with other person who has been criminal charged then they might ask you to submit your Canadian PCC. So i didnt submit. Its been more than 5 months since i have been submitted my passport and i dint get any reply from them.

I also submitted my PCC from Canada.

NDVO will call you for fingerprints for that. The process takes about 4-5 months from the day of fingerprints taken...

No doubt YOU ARE A JULY Applicant.
In this process first dicision is made for sponsorship approval at Mississauga being sponsorship approval.
The second decision is to be made at VO for visa starts on completion of first decision - Sponsorship approval.
The VO at Newdelhi may give priority based on application received at Newdelhi This is what MP is telling. This could be the reason why some jumbping of cases takes place.
In this forum we discuss based on the application date So you are a July applicant.

Guys, received passport with shiny visa, visa valid upto 23rd May 2014, my medical is expiring on 16th May 2014, seems like they had extended only for a week! thank you all for your support and wishes, I am going to my holy religious place tomorrow, I ll pray for each and everyone to get their visas soon, we all deserve to be with our partners sooner than later, have patience guys, this wait is only for a short period, best of luck to you all!

Congrads once more NAKSA. Now my wife has submitted her remedical with passport to Chandigarh, hopefully we'll hear from the Chandigarh visa office soon. *fingerscrossed*

That's what I have been thinking, that I am a July applicant. But if I am, why has my file (including some other early July applicants) not even been touched yet, I mean, it hasn't even been opened for initial review. I realise that on this forum we discuss based on the application date, which is why I am so concerned, my application date is July 11. July is almost done, and my file was received at Mississauga on July 11, 2013, people whose files were received much much later than that are "in-process" or have "DM" (some even have received their visa's). This whole process, the way NDVO works is just really really messed up. NDVO has no rules and regulations in place, they just randomly pick off applications and work on them whenever they "feel like it". And if a lazy, fat, samosa eating visa officer gets your file, good luck, he/she will just sit on it for no reason

July is half way through. What we have in the forum is just a sample. Let us analyse it.
9 July applicants namely Shorty2001, Sunjuxta,NATASA1521, User_23, tammineni, MTL,sad2baway,Visu007, akkujuly all got their DM. All these got their Sponsorship approval in Aug2013.
2 July applicants got their DM They have not given theri sponsorship details so we are unable to classify them correctly.
One July applicant got their approval in July itself namely amar.reddy09 got DM.
Three July applicants are in Process.
Nine including yours are pending or fate not known.
In brief out of the 24 samples we have 15 are in DM and 9 are pending. Let us presume they would be taken up for processing now and you will be getting some good news shortly. Have faith and patience.
