You could do a registered marriage early with the intent of having the reception at a later date (The questionnaire for India gives u the option to explain that. Not sure of the process through Abu Dhabi. A few people applying from India have done that, however keep in mind you have to give a clear date for reception (ie ur public wedding), show all the planning leading up to it and also send ur wedding photos in Dec 2014 without delays. There is possibility of being tagged for interview, but even with that your visa will be ready closer to ur marriage date than if you start the process after Dec 2014.

Hello,

I am an Indian working in Kuwait. My fiance has a PR and works in Canada as a nurse. We will be marrying in December 2014 after which I want to shift to Canada. Also, my fiance will be applying for her Canadian citizenship around March 2014. I would like to know what would be the best possible way to get my PR early so that we can start our life in Canada together.

Thanks!

It's is showing Canadian mailing address instead of Indian is it ok

Its okay. NDVO will call to confirm the address. No worries about it.

they are like cable operators or telephone engineers when you ask them when would you come to my house to fix my problems their answers would be between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m...so NDVO would call anytime between 9 and 6...of course you don't have a life, no work and nothing else to do other than wait by your land line (that's the NDVO's assumption). Hopefully your phone won't be tied by grandma who wants to discuss about TV serials (it takes 3 to 4 hours to discuss 235 episodes) or salesman trying to sell you latest insurance scheme. As for getting PP back it is by regular post and you wait by the window for two weeks or so since you don't have a life other than wait by the window. We spend 2/3 rds of our lives waiting for someone to make a decision.

ahah just funny the way you wrote :D ;D :D

Actually you will see that you will have 2 UCI numbers. once woudl be the sponsorer like the person having the CDN PR or cotizen sponsoring the spouse. It will show for that the Canada address. But when the one who is getting sponsored would have the India address.

But I believe there are instances of mailing addresses changing from Indian to Canadian for actually sponsored persons. It has been reported to happen before DM. But I am no expert and NDVO is a mess.

Wow, for a Monday morning, this thread is pretty silent. :o
