GCMS notes are essentially all the notes that vo will have on your file.
why its useful - if there is a long delay since you submitted your application and no change in status or no ppr u can figure it out if u have missed the request, or ADR , if you want to check if u have interview or you want to know the officer's comments about your application....

Hey sad2b away, welcome to the forum. I am a July applicant as well. The NDVO is working on May applicants so may take early next year to process our applications. Don't apply for the GCMS notes until they start processing July applicants.

What is your timeline?
When did you apply? When did you get SA and passport request?

i applied on 26 july....medical got done on 8 june.....got sponsorship eligibility on 23 aug...passport requested on18 sept.....i hope that it gets done in january...we both are frustrated of waiting

2014 way too long. Only way to get PR unless your fiance marries you. There is no other ways you will gain PR early.

Unless you don't marry your fiance' there is no way you can get PR.

Could you please tell me that if NDVO calls to confirm address to mail the documents, what time would they usually call? I would like to tell my wife to be available at home during that time. And also when they send the PP back, is it through regular post or registered.

Hi, my wife recieved call from NDVO around 11:10 IST last week on 19th Tuesday regarding confirmation of address to mail documents.

Unless you don't marry your fiance' there is no way you can get PR.

there are other two categories under which they can apply - common law and conjugal relationship where people who cannot get married due to government rules or their beliefs. In this case assuming both are Indian citizens and of different genders then it would be hard to prove why they couldn't get married in India. Some people of different genders don't get married because they don't believe in the institution of marriage.

they are like cable operators or telephone engineers when you ask them when would you come to my house to fix my problems their answers would be between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m...so NDVO would call anytime between 9 and 6...of course you don't have a life, no work and nothing else to do other than wait by your land line (that's the NDVO's assumption). Hopefully your phone won't be tied by grandma who wants to discuss about TV serials (it takes 3 to 4 hours to discuss 235 episodes) or salesman trying to sell you latest insurance scheme. As for getting PP back it is by regular post and you wait by the window for two weeks or so since you don't have a life other than wait by the window. We spend 2/3 rds of our lives waiting for someone to make a decision.

If she is aplying in mar2014 she may get citizen ship after 2 years min. If you are married in dec2014 and then she applies you it may take 18 months for canadian embassy in abudabhi to process ur application. better bring forward marriage date if possible
