I know and god knows from where MSing2013's friend get this insider information.

I am sure they have set targets for different type of VISA applications but i am pretty sure they never make up to those targets (just like any other office work). Look at the backlog they have accumulated for years.

Lets not waste our time talking about this and worry ourselves for no reason.

My friend's lawyer told him this. The one who helped him with the application. I just wanted to know if it was true or not as I didn't think it was.

no they cant do that ......for family sponsorship.....its never happened...im talkin abt child and spouse only !! remaining yes they can do that

i would say we might not need to worry about reaching QUota. As of today considerable amount of backlog left and its not going to be easy for them to meet the basic quota limit. So they might not worry about that for now...

but on the contrary each category as percentage per year. So its not always true that family class means by any means they will let you in without seeing the quota. But in our case i doubt reaching quota will play a role as they are well short of targeted number for ths year.

We have heard many stories from Lawyers/consultant on this and other forums. They make stories according to the situations so client wont get upset with the delay or stupid work they have done on their files.

One lawyer asked to one of our forum member that there is $500 fee for GCMS notes...

It is not true..They cannot just put aside the applications....Giving priority is different from totally stop working.

Dont mean to offend anyone...but a lot of assumptions here. Quota is applied under different scenarios...specially skilled workers etc. So please do urself a favour and stop worrying about trivial things.

agreed and I confirmed this with my hubby too....it doesn't effect spouse visa....ndvo time frame is anyways 1 yr now so certain files can take up to 1 year to get pr..

My Husband received his passport today with Visa stamped.

M also march applicant.
My status is only app received.

. Yes u r right jk45 layers are doing that such thing to calm us I talk to one lawyer he said the files at the Ndvo are send to barma because they are not at strike and they have not much work to do so they are processing the files.

hahaha Burma...last time i heard they are still in the planning phase to open up embassy in Burma.

Yes i agree with you...there are better things to worry about rather thn rumors from so called Lawyers.
