ndvo is very quiet and so is the forum worried..i hope they start working again and everyone can heave a sigh of relief...
just a question, is it important to get a jewellery appraisal for the items u r wearing like the wedding ring or bangles....
believe me guys even after the visa, things don't stop for entering Canada...im continuously working over small issues...it will be a relief once I reach there....good luck and hope this week brings good news..

no problem in how much you wear except try going through the security and removing one jewellery at a time and get on peoples' nerves who are waiting behind you..just joking they don't ask to remove jewellery at the airport...once you reach Canada, you don't have break either ---things to take care of SIN card (if you are not able to get at the airport); opening bank account; applying for credit card; getting cell phone; if not driving then getting subway passes; learner's permit and driving license; looking for baby sitters; applying for job; preparing for winter and the list goes on....

These twenty cases cannot be pending for background check only last few may be. All appears to be pending by the scrutiny and final okay by VO which will be DM on his nod. VO is busy with student visa. Yet he has show his performance in spousal cases too. This week we can see I P cases upto July getting DM and next week the remining.

I totally agree vid you...as per ur suggestion when I complete dis data it looks so scary...
I thought my turn will b come soon but dere is 10 applicants ahead from me..

its doesn't gud thing dat they give priority to student visas and forget us...but hope for the best they didn't give any update for last few weeks so dere will b boombst of DM's....just hang in dere for few days. .

Finally some sigh of relief for us, my wife just got a re-med request.

The results of initial medical examinations for yourself has expired. In order to provide your application with an updated validity, we require following additional medical examination(s) for yourself:
Analogue Chest Xray
Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 6 and 7 of IMM5419).
Duly completed Re-assessment Form (attached)
Serum Creatinine report

You have 30 days from the date of this email to comply with this request. Failure to do so may result in the closing of your Immigration medical file, which may result in the refusal of your application.

couple of pages ago, someone had similar response from his/her MP except the email said final review..in your case it is just review by a visa officer and your status is 'in process' so I assume that they are waiting for final review to be done and whenever the supreme Ayatollah commander is free they will assign your case to him...

this is my MP's reply...when I done enquiry on July-

Please be advised that the medical validity of the applicant is until 23Jul15. Currently the file is awaiting further review by a visa officer to determine whether all statutory requirements have been met or not. Following which, the next steps will be determined and communicated directly to the applicant.

Email received from New delhi March 29, 2014 that they need my husbands Police clearance from New Delhi as he is from Afghanistan but he lives in India. so we submited his PCC on May 2, 2014.
Another email received on June 20, 2014 that they need his police clearance from India. I replyed that we already submitted last month and I also sent a copy of police clearance and delivery tracking number.
Since then we are waiting and waiting no response

Even I got the same mail from NDVO, Happy to see some change, actually we were supposed to make an MP inquiry tomorrow but finally could hear
something. do I need to send these reassessment form to NDVO or just go to Physician and get the test done and rest they will send all these forms to NDVO? Please advise me. And where can i find IMM5419 form?

just check ur email properly the form is in the attachment...but if they didn't send you form then don't worry just show this letter to panel physician they already hv lots of forms...and rest of the reports they will also send by them...so you just go and done the remedical. ..gud luck

in July grand master ayatollah of canada visa office was not available for review..now he may be..unless you do another inquiry to find out if his 'you are not worthy to speed up the process' holiness is available to look at your process completed application, you wouldn't know...having said that nobody knows if this is just one of the template created 'you are within your processing time frame' or 'thank you for your resume..we will let you know if you are suitable' kind of emails...the only difference between two postings is one wrote that he/she received 'awaiting for final review' and the other one' awaiting further review' and based on that, I think this is not just computer generated response...on the other hand, I have been wrong in many instances....
