Oh yah desigirl...has been a while.... just coming out from the vacation hangover of xmas & new years with my wife....
Well yah I asked my sis to find it out with local Post office... lets see how it turns out...Not tht I have a DM already, but jus being on safe side.
Wish NDVO atleast sends an email when PP is dispatched.... saves many of us from uncalled stress....

Hey, long time no see. Glad to know that your passport has safely reached NDVO. Hope you get it back soon with your visa. Check with postal services if they can hold it for your sister.

Myrah I have collected my 5th (I think) 'angry bird' (NDVO's automated response for my email) card...at this rate my bet is it will take another 10 more cards to get any response from them unless my emails end up in the basement along with my application

No it shouldn't because its all mostly electronic (The officer's notes), so it is easy for them to pull out your file and check where they left off.

Nope.. Our interview is in Feb so it seems like we will b asked to go for re-medical...

ya our interview is also in febuary. But I ask my hubby to obtain another PCC as expiry is feb 11, but medical expiry date is april 25th as per GCMS................

Whenever i reach the first page of check application status where we have to select sponsorship option
Below it the date mentioned is the date my application got into process i.e. 4 dec 2013..
What date you guys see ! Is it the date in which your application status changed ?

First of all i haven't yet read the posts i have missed while sleeping.. So i am gonna reply later to those by you guys..secondly got a call from ndvo...right now nothing to get excited about !!
She just asked my dob n my address where i would like the post n said thankyou without informing me anything.
I quickly asked her when can I expect my pp she said i cant comment on that...then i asked has decision been made... She said no it is still in ip..!

guys...my husband picked up his passport with VISAAA...finallyyyyy the waiittt is over...he will get here in canada on january 14th...yayyyyy...soooooooooo happppyyyyyyyyyy....visa is valid till 22 feb omggg..soo happyyy cant express in words....goood luck guyss...hope everyone get to feeeel these emotions ASAP.....

OMG!!
After a long wait of 296 days, i received my passport with SHINY visa
i was there at my parent's place yesterday (8-jan) when i received my hubby's call from canada telling me the good news.. i rushed back today to my in laws to see what was unbelieveable-- My SHINY Visa......
I am very very thankful to all the people here at this forum for guiding me and providing me with useful information..

Guys, just keep patience. God + NVDO will listen to your prayers soon.. i wish each one of u a speedy visa...
