they say in parents forum that FCU-DIS is decision making stage? is this same for spouse cases

is DIS the last stage? as per notes

Application was received by cic on may 27 2013
Medical was done before that because i had to submit the medical acknowledgement slip along with the other docs...sponsorship was approved in june 2013 within 20 days that was awesome...after that in july first week they asked for my original passport which i submitted in july itself received a mail from them acknowledging that my passport has Reached them ....then after a long wait finally on dec 4 2013 the status was in process n they started processing my application... Medical results have been received on 17 dec 2013...thats all

Now im currently waiting for january first week and im sure if i wouldn't receive my passport by the first week...i will be hopeless :/

Congratulations to the three of you for your In Process! Hope you get DM and passports back with shiny visas really soon. Bhatiameghna, we can't really be sure when that would be, but hopefully, with the new year approaching, it will be really soon. Usually it takes 2 weeks to a month to bet DM but NDVO wasn't really in the mood to work in December.

My wife coming to India & she has connecting flight from London.

So I need to knw whether Transit Visa required for London connecting flight??? Moreover she has Canadian PR & Indian Passport.

Please reply if any1 have exp. of it.

Hi deep....she doesn't need any transit visa unless she is planning to go out of the London airport...if she is staying in side the airport.she doesn't need visa.

Can you let me know the route? indian passport holders neeed a transit if you are having 2 connections in Europe like you can go from delhi to london and then Canada without any transit visa but if you have your flight from delhi - london - frannkfurt - canada then you need a transit visa.

Thanks Anupam, Actually her flight is CANADA(Montreal)-UK(Heathrow)-India(Delhi) & Return also same i.e. DEL-LHR-YUL.

There is no transit visa required if you have connected flight via germany, france or UK . Transit visa required only if you travelling via USA.
