Yes it is possible that both DM and medical get updated at the same time.

Hi there,
I applied for spouse sponsorship in May 2013 and sent my file to Mississauga office - Ontario and got approval. My file was sent to Delhi office on 28 th May 2013. My wife's passport was requested on july 14 2013 and She sent it next day and was received by 18 th July 2013. Until then I haven't heard anything so far (Dec 23rd 2013). No status was updated until today .Status online was "File received on May 28" so far but now its says "Started Process on 23rd Dec 2013". So I am not sure here that wats going on ....Did they need 7months just to start processing?......Can Anyone help me out on this situation please?

Guyss I got my GCMS notes... All other things are a description of wht all has happened with our case till date! Latest is In re-PCC/ Passport it says status as received & also says which date these were recd.. However in the medical status it only says requested, no received date Huh

Also GCMS says ur paper file is currently in ALU?? Neone knows what it means??
Though we submitted Re-pcc/passport/some Forms as requested & medical sheet all together on the same day Huh

Any suggestions Do they update medical later??? Why they are not mentioning the received date???

OMG OMG moment for me!! My status shows 'in process' ;D ;D...They started processing my file on 14th December, 2013

NDVO is moving slowly slowly.......

Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on in process (IP).

This is very normal with New Delhi. Although not at the moment, generally once in process things move quickly. It also means interview is waived. Wish you quick decision made note. Did you apply for GCMS notes?

Thanks for sharing your timeline. Congrats for IP. Im pretty sure you will get dm sooner this month or next month. They are on holidays for xmas and boxing day. Dont worry! All the best for the visa soon! Merry Xmas!

Thankyou so much...yeah i hope so too..i wanted to celebrate new year with my husband but thats not possible now guess as it is already 25th now but i hope January first week will get some great news along with it for may applicants atleast ..
