hey roger, it varies from case to case .. but in my wife's case she got her Passport Request on May 28th, she sent her PP on June 14th, & she received the passport today (i.e November 6th) with visa .. so approx 4 1/2 months after she sent the Passport

I must say..your wife is lucky! 4 1/2 months is not too bad !

I recently got married to a Canadian citizen and was filling forms for immigration am facing some problem in writing spouse questioner stories.it would be of great help if somebody could mail me their IMM 5490 form.Though I know it is very individualistic but at least i will have a idea on what line i have to write.

questions are pretty straightforward..just asking for details about meeting your partner/spouse, how long you have known him/her, who introduced,whether his/her parents have met you etc.... just basic stuff to find out if this relationship is genuine or not.

my wifey received her passport with visa today by registered post one of the happiest day of my life!

I think if you are on a work permit you can enter Canada with your wife and they get the dependent visa which allows them to work as well.....but you should do it when you are first entering

I would suggest you should hook up with someone in your town and go through the forms. I think you need to set some time and it is very cumbersome and you have to really think

hey orion, thanks a lot .. since there was a strike i decided to go to india to see my wife as our first year anniversary was approaching and i am leaving for India today, and she got her passport with visa today lol .. so we are flying back together on Nov 30th

and as far as your question goes .. yes it went directly from In Process to DM .. she had a interview call back in August.
