I am ready with all documents for my wife's spousal sponsorship. Unfortunately I haven't received my NOA (tax notice of assessment) for 201, which is necessary for the application. I inquired CRA and they told that I will receive the NOA by 27th June, 2013. Is it worth waiting till then? Also, I will be needing a option C printout, that only comes after a week of NOA.
In the application guide, it is mentioned that if option C printout is not there, explain the reason. In alternative, provide 12 months payslip, a letter from current employer, bank account statement.

PLS ADVICE if I shoud go ahead without Option C and NOA. CRA told me that there is no problem with my NOA, but it is under review until 27th June.
I am worried. PLS HELP!!!

Was 2012, your first year in Canada? If not then you should get option C immediately. But if last year is your first year in Canada then I guess you will need to wait until you get your NOA. I guess, it will be a good idea to write a letter explaining your situation and also get a letter from CRA and send this letter as a supporting document for your explanation and of course send your paystubs for last 12 months and also you can submit T4 copy too.

if yu dont hav option c - NOA will do just write the letter .. also yu can send the docs without NOA just a write a letter and explain them the facts.

LunarNymph, GulzarND - Any updates?
Also wondering if you have applied for GCMS?

Dear All,

Need your help desperately.
I have applied for Study Permit on VFS Bangalore on 17th May. I received a mail from Canada High Commission on 28th May stating as below.

" Dear Ujjal Baruah,
Please find information concerning your application in the attached document. If you are unable to view the attached document or did
not receive a document, please advise us by forwarding this e-mail to "Link".
High Commission of Canada "

There was a Medical Examination form attached(IMM1017) along with the mail. I have already completed my medicals before submitting my application, and I have submitted the Medical tracking sheet along with my application.
I have already conveyed the Embassy at Delhi via mail (havent heard back from them). I also contacted my doctor, and they confirmed that the medical report is already sent to the embassy.
Now, my worry is I am not sure whether my mail have been received by the embassy and whether are they considering the medical report that I have already submitted along with my application. There is no acknowledgement(correspondence) absolutely from the embassy and I am at complete dark - what shall be my next steps. Is my application is being processed Or are they waiting for me to submit my medicals.
It is highly impossible to reach the embassy by phone, they told me to send mail and wait.

Please suggest what shall I do. I want to avoid unnecessary delays. Shall I ask the VFS office about my application.

Regards,

Hi Guys,

My application was recieved on the 6th of may at Mississagua.

Still havent heard anything from them yet, even though their stage 1 processing time now says 28 days. I'm not able to find any info on e-cas with my husbands UCI number either.

Getting really worked up now...my husband just went back to canada but we had mentioned in our letter to them that he would leave to canada by the end of may. Dont know if that was a red flag for them or they have just misplaced our file :o

Should i have my husband call them up to check on our application...atleast then they'll know hes back..if that was a point of concern.

Suggestions pls!!! This seems a lot harder than i thought it would :(
