New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Hello green,

I had ordered the GCMS notes on 30th September 2013 but I see on my GCMS notes that they only generated them on 22nd October 2013. I received it only today so which is exactly 30days after my request.

me too, but the wait is soo frustrating, :-\

I am also a January applicant, and I just patiently wait. We know that the whole process can take up to 12 months, sometimes more. So as some people said, we are in the timelines. There is absolutely nothing we can do. I don't think there is a point asking every other day if someone got their MR. If people want to update their status, that's nice.

Thanks for your response. Its good to know that they can sometimes create the notes later on just before releasing on it. That way, we can have better clear idea on whats exactly been going on by the time we receive.
I have ordered mine a few days ago. We both have same timeline. My app received is jan 25 in the cic system. AOR is March 6.

Hopefully, we will all hear good news soon. Its really now our time

i am applying for bridge open work permit tomorrow. Can you pls confirm if i need a letter from employer showing my wages etc or AOR is sufficient? Any help is appreciated? pls advise if anything else is needed

You don't need letter from Employer for BOWP. You need to write a letter to CEC that you have AOR and you would like to apply for BOWP under documented guidelines from CIC.

you don't need a letter from employer, so I just wanted to apply with cover letter.
However, my immigration consultant suggested to attach at least couple of paystub to show that I'm still working. She said people are applying EI after applying CEC, so it's better to attach paystub just in case.

So, yet another Feb applicant got ppr on 28th. I'm eagerly waiting for my gcms, than for my MR / rprf! I hope that cic has done at least preliminary eligibility review and have already updated the comments in the notes section.

That way I can at least be prepared for an updated letter / anything.

As days are passing by, I'm losing my hopes.

Congrats ! Finally some good news after sometime

Can you please share the visa officer code from RPRF email? it will be in the signature of the RPRF email , usually in the format AB1234. I would just like to understand if certain visa officers are delaying the case or delay is because of complexity of individual cases.

edit: My visa officer NN05116 does not have even a single RPRF in the forum, I'm just worried if my file is in wrong hands.

Thank you, the waiting was also killing me. Anyway No I don't see any visa officer code on the email. There is just Ottawa address at the bottom.

I just want to add my ecas still shows as "we received your application on January 10" ( I checked this morning). Also i received back in September a set of GCMS and nothing has started at this time.

Don't desperate, it will come soon!!
