to what email id you've sent the request for vo change.
I've replied to the same email "Ready for Visa" CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with a subject line

"Redy for Visa -- Request for Change of Visa Office for stamping"

will that be ok? I want to send a reminder today. any suggestions on the subject/content/email ids?(my initial mail was on 24th Nov)

Thanks,

Hi Guys,

I have a situation where I may have to go back to home country (India) end of Jan 2015 and planing to return once my PR application (under CEC) is approved.

I have applied in Canada and received the AOR on Sept 20th 2014. Hoping that my application is approved (currently waiting for medicals), can you please advice me on the below questions:

1. Can both my spouse and I do medicals and stamping from India?
2. When stamping is requested, can I request CIC for transfer of the application to New Delhi VO for my spouse and I?
3. How long does it take to transfer of the application when the request is for both applicant and dependant.?

I have gone through this thread and my understanding is that most of the transfer request mentioned here by the members is only for dependants leaving in India.
Is that same time for transfer of applicant and dependant application?

Appreciate your advice.

Thanks,
Jags

Hi Jags,

Yes you can do medicals and stamping from India. It generally takes 2 to 3 weeks to transfer the application.

Thanks,

Hello...
I got ppr on 30th January and sent email on 2nd February cic for change of vo to New Delhi as my spouse is in India.
Since then I have no reply from cic. It's more than 3 weeks. I m sending my passport to Ottawa today with explanation why I m sending my passport only to Ottawa and still waiting for their reply back for my wife's visa in New Delhi as 30 days limit is nearly finished..
Anyone in same boat please share your experience

Hi All,

I got married last year and included my spouse in my application.
I got visa ready email from CPC Ottawa office to send passport for stamping on 19th Feb 2015.
As I am currently living in India, I requested CIC to make arrangement for stamping at CHC-New Delhi.
I got the request from CHC-New Delhi on 24th Feb 2015 to send passport.

Now, my wife is expected to give birth towards the end of September.
We are planning to do our landing in Canada by the end of March 2015 or by 1st week of April.

Do I need to disclose to CIC that my wife is expected?

I am confused as the email which I received from CPC-Ottawa and CHC-New Delhi differs in their requirement.

Please suggest if it is fine to land and become PR and later inform CIC.

Below are the content of the emails
