Today my e-cas moved from RBVO to IN PROCESS but with RBVO details.

Still keeping the faith 8)

I'm about to change jobs; must I inform the VO about this?

Dear Sonko,

Congratulation as your file has moved a step further. It shows your document has been reviewed. Once you have changed your job, you have to inform the VO but this might create some delays on your processing. Any how keep the faith.

Regards

Dear Sonko

Good news for u & congrats
My time line are as follows:

FSW: NOC 1111(Internal Auditor)
Received application by CIO on 03.09.09
Reviewed & Letter sent to me on 16.11.09
File transferred to Nairobi 24.11.09
Complete supporting docs(IELT,PPC+Proof of fund)sent on 28.5.10
Acknowledgement letter received on 10.6.10

If processing is done in a chronological order, I can boost up my hope & expect a change in my ecas in a few months. Hope so.....Don't know if they process by region or other critera. BZW, I'm from Mauritius.

Gashe bro,

As mentioned previously, I agree with you, I don't think anything will happen for us Pre June 2010 applicants until next year. However the Lord does work in mysterious ways :)

The processing order is quite complicated and not easy to predict. I also did apply under NOC. 1111(Internal Auditor)

I have no idea my brother! Let us wait and see how things unfold.

Good day comrade.

Hi Sonko,

Congratulations for the change in status :) I see that it has taken around 12 months from the date you forwarded your full application.

I am also pre June 2010 applicant (NOC 1111) but I forwarded my application with supporting documents much later (February 2011). I expect change in status by end of first quarter 2012.

Hope you get your Medical soon. Keep us updated. I am learning a lot from your individual experiences.
Thanks.
Dassen.

Dear my NVO friends!!
Today i have requested NVO to let me know my Ecase status. Unfortunately i feel sad how they respond to me promptly. Please add your comment on the following message which they send to me today.

Thank you for your correspondence.

This application is waiting to be reviewed. Until your application is reviewed, we will not be able to provide any more information. Once the decision has been made, we will contact you to advise you of the decision and next steps in the processing of your application.

Please be assured that, as soon as the assessment has taken place, a letter will be sent directly to you advising of the decision and any other requirements. We request that you wait to be contacted by our office and no further action is required by you at this time.

We have received enough federal skilled worker applications since February 27, 2008 to reach our immigration levels for the next two years. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis. Therefore, few federal skilled worker applications received before February 27, 2008 will be processed this year or next.

You will be advised of next steps (including instructions for medical examination and outstanding documentation if any) once your file comes up for review. However, we are not able to give an exact indication as to when that will occur.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

We hope that this information is useful.

Regards,

Bummer.

Expected though.

On the bright side, at least most of us on this thread do not fall in the pre February 2008 batch so it is just a matter of time, regardless of the frustrating wait. Patience is a virtue most difficult to maintain.
