My application was send in february 2014 with all the document and medical and they send me a letter in june 2015 asking for medical exam/proove and i send them in june via email. My ecas shows medical received and application process started in may 28 2015. Nairobie did not ask me passport yet im still waiting.

It was in Feb I believe then a month later asked for another medical exam and for passport that took 2 months to get back now sending passport tomorrow. I think mine is going fast because they just started doing visas in tanzania so I have a feeling that they were trying to get ones they started from there gone as I know another girl got hers really fast but I could be wrong

Is tanzania office same as nairobi timeline ??? I had my app sent there for unknown reason

They just started so its hard to say it could be fast cuz they don't have many before you but they could also be a little slow cuz they are new at it. But I'm sure that it would be faster then Nairobi good luck!!!

Hey Falmaata,

Your interview letter seems to be taking long. are you sure they have the correct address? but even so, they would normally email you also right?
I'm not sure what is happening but try go talk to the mp and see if he/she can emai the VO and ask them what is happening to your interview scheduling.

Happy for you my dear. Your application went to in process after some of us even though we applied a little earlier. We are happy things are going for all of us anyway. If you don't mind me asking, did you apply through a lawyer? Do you think that could be the reason why it went a little fast? i hope you get passport request really quick my friend!

Meena, ow long did it take from the time ecas showed "in-process" to getting the passport request? What "in-process" date to PPR date does it show on ecas?
