I don't understand why my application still saying "" Application received , medical have been received "" that makes me frustrated , and they replyed me that interview is required, no date is set last may , how come will it take them to so long to send interview later , that's disquesting .. I am the one who is going to punish the conservatives by my vote , they must change their immigration processing law

Congrats Curlysue they also send me a letter asking for medical form to be send in june and then my ecas change to "in process" my ecas shows medical received and application process started in May 28. What i did i just send them the same medical form via email. I did not hear anything from them after that. Hope to hear news soon

I'm a Jan 2015 applicant and my ECAS just changed to in process on the 20th of July 2015.I was wondering how long it takes to get to decision made? Anyone with an idea? Goodluck to everyone!

Hi alwy, I applied Nov 2014- ecas status changed to in process in June 2015. I did submit medicals upfront, but they did not show up for a long time. In June after in process, we got email requesting medicals form be forwarded again to Nairobi-and then ecas started showing medicals completed.
I wouldn't worry too much about the medicals-all we did was email the same form to Nairobi office with our file number after they asked.

Also, in update- we got passport request so perhaps there is hope!

Thanks for the information. I just checked my ecas and it now says medicals received and that they started processing our application on July 21st. When exactly did you application change to "in-process" and how long did it take before they requested for the passport.

Mine application says in-process a day after yours(July 21st) There's one timeline here posted by loneguy showing that it took a month after when they requested for the passport. Let's hope the same or even faster happens to us and everyone here.

Hey Koko,

just have a question for you. If your application changed to in-process on May 28th, has Nairobi requested for passport yet?
If not then when did you send them the medical form that you mentioned? Do you know when approximately?

Hey alwy alsaggaf i send my application in february 2014 that's when i submitted all the document with the medical upfront. Nairobie did not ask for passport yet. They last time was when they asked me the medical proove. After i send that in june i did not hear anything and im still waiting.
