a question though ... the invite did not mention any guests ... should I assume guests are welcome to the ceremony or better to call for confirmation?basel4380 said:FINALLY the wait is over.... Is there something wrong with my case? I feel like this is weird.... I didnt even get RQ or anything I called the call centre last month and they told me that they would send a message to the local office and tell them to speed up the process.... but there is still no feedback at the moment... I am so frustrated about this sigh

LOL I am afraid that they will slow down the process if they find me annoying haha, thats why i didnt chase them everyday! Nope i did not order ATIP, is the status going to be shown in the report?ambient2 said:If I were you, I would call them every day after the initial 6 months passed (after your test.)
In fact that is exactly what I'm planning to do in two weeks as that's the 6th month deadline for me.
Have you tried ordering ATIP ?
............ they need 1 year to read her case? I thought they have a guideline saying that they should complete a case within 12 months or something... (like normally....)basel4380 said:there are no determined rules ... my wife applied for citizenship back in May and till now we didn't even receive AOR!!! when we called CIC they said call us back after passing one year from applying!!!!
ATIP might tell you a lot or nothing at all. I've order it three times, first one showed me that my file was transferred to St.Clair. second one didn't say anything new, waiting for the third one by the end of this month.classic0 said:LOL I am afraid that they will slow down the process if they find me annoying haha, thats why i didnt chase them everyday! 3. We started processing your application on July 15, 2015.
4. We sent you a notice on October 28, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 14, 2015 at 12:45 PM. @ Mississauga office
Judge told me a latter will be sent in 2 months.
DM on ecas on Nov 17 (or earlier..?)
Now waiting for the letter to come...
1) I don't think the test is different per location. I'm sure they have the same set of tests across the country. However, not everyone writes the same test. You likely won't write the same test as the person sitting next to you. (I think) - There were some questions I was surprised by... best thing you can do is read the guide multiple times. Also search online for practice tests. They helped me a lot.Lux et Veritas said:Hey guys,
I've got my citizenship exam scheduled for next Monday at Mississauga. Quick question:
1) What is the citizenship test like in Mississauga? Is it difficult?
2) What is the interview like? Are the officers nice and how long does the interview usually last?
Thank you.
1) For the test: When you read the guide, make sure you read the little footnotes on each page and the photo descriptions. There are questions based off these. The test is not difficult, but I saw several people fail when I gave it, so definitely make sure you prepare. I did all 100 free questions at v-soul and they were very pertinent to the actual test. Here's how I studied: Skim through guide slightly quicker than usual, do practice questions, then study guide more thoroughly, do practice questions again.Lux et Veritas said:Hey guys,
