Congratulates! We took the test same day! You are on a faster train!
I was told by the CO that November is fully booked and should not except any oath invite ... perhaps December or even January ...

FINALLY :D the wait is over.... I received the OATH invitation letter today for November 28 :D ECAS is not updated yet but it doesn't matter.... I would like to thank everyone on this forum for the valuable informal and guidance I received...
a question though ... the invite did not mention any guests ... should I assume guests are welcome to the ceremony or better to call for confirmation?

Hello guys, I took the test back in Apr 17 and I have been waiting for more than 7 months for the decision.... Is there something wrong with my case? I feel like this is weird.... I didnt even get RQ or anything :( I called the call centre last month and they told me that they would send a message to the local office and tell them to speed up the process.... but there is still no feedback at the moment... I am so frustrated about this sigh

If I were you, I would call them every day after the initial 6 months passed (after your test.)
In fact that is exactly what I'm planning to do in two weeks as that's the 6th month deadline for me.
Have you tried ordering ATIP ?

............ they need 1 year to read her case? I thought they have a guideline saying that they should complete a case within 12 months or something... (like normally....)

ATIP might tell you a lot or nothing at all. I've order it three times, first one showed me that my file was transferred to St.Clair. second one didn't say anything new, waiting for the third one by the end of this month.

Hey guys,
I've got my citizenship exam scheduled for next Monday at Mississauga. Quick question:

1) What is the citizenship test like in Mississauga? Is it difficult?
2) What is the interview like? Are the officers nice and how long does the interview usually last?

Thank you.

1) I don't think the test is different per location. I'm sure they have the same set of tests across the country. However, not everyone writes the same test. You likely won't write the same test as the person sitting next to you. (I think) - There were some questions I was surprised by... best thing you can do is read the guide multiple times. Also search online for practice tests. They helped me a lot.
2) I can only tell what my officer was like. It was a seamless interview, and he was a nice guy. But I believe my interview was fairly routine, so no issues. Just come prepared with ALL documentation.

1) For the test: When you read the guide, make sure you read the little footnotes on each page and the photo descriptions. There are questions based off these. The test is not difficult, but I saw several people fail when I gave it, so definitely make sure you prepare. I did all 100 free questions at v-soul and they were very pertinent to the actual test. Here's how I studied: Skim through guide slightly quicker than usual, do practice questions, then study guide more thoroughly, do practice questions again.

2) If your application is routine, the interview is very short and easy. That being said if they see any small inconsistencies they start digging. They are neutral and firm.
