From what I remember
If you bring a holy book, you hold it in your left hand, with your right hand in the air and you start by staying, "I swear..."
If you don't bring a book, left hand down, right hand up and you start by saying, "I affirm..."
I in fact had a separate application to my ex wife and kids. As far as I could tell it went through completely separately, with no real connection. I just had to submit my kids educational records. However the applications appears to move on different courses and were not linked.

I still have Decision Made with test invite, and I just applied for my Passport this morning! So they're falling behind on ECAS updates by the looks of the things in some cases. It's obviously not a high priority.

Yes, I think that the residency helped speed up the process.
Got here in 2003 on a work permit, and received permanent residency in 2006. Only left on vacation maybe a total of 2 weeks a year... so really, there wasn't a question

1) I don't think the test is different per location. I'm sure they have the same set of tests across the country. However, not everyone writes the same test. You likely won't write the same test as the person sitting next to you. (I think) - There were some questions I was surprised by... best...
Got my oath invite letter for Fri, Nov 27th two weeks ago. However, my ECAS is still not updated. Anyone else experiencing this? I assume it isn't a problem...

Thanks! I guess I just think, that if ECAS is not update, then someone hasn't entered something into one of the systems...and my concern was, what if that system is the same as the one that prints the certificate, or registers me. haha... seems kind of silly that they have to enter in multiple...
I received my Oath invitation last Wednesday, dated the Tuesday. However, ECAS is not updated. Oath is for 27th. Anyone else experience this? Is this normal?
i've been using citizenshipcounts.ca as a supplement to the guide to study for the test. It is apparently funded by CIC.
Are the questions there very similar to the ones on the test?
